Yeah, I absolutely adore mine; Once you get the settings dialled in for personal preference! I code, watch vids and game on mine and I've got a sweet spot for each! My only real complaint is the menu system, in that it could do a lot more to help understand why you can/can't change some settings, and a better help system

You say we need to enable HDR on both our windows setting and the monitor, but when I activate both of them it colors go washed out like it did on your video when you only had it only on windows. But when I activate it only on the monitor it looks fine, is that normal?

Help.. I have this monitor and I teach online classes. I am relying on the 2nd monitor right now because during class I tried to adjust the brightness and accidently made the monitor go black. When I press the settings button is says (HDMI 1 no signal). I am afraid to touch anything. Suggestions on what I did and how to fix it?

bro when i set the picture mode to hdr1000 it looks a little bit dark but to hdr movie it looks great. why? connected with ps5

I know this is a very dated request and I apologize, but I got one of these on credit last summer and have been frustrated with not being able to adjust the individual color channels and other video settings while in Windows. My RTX graphics card settings will not correct the bad tints especially red. Since OSD Sidekick doesn't work. do you or anyone on here know how to access these settings to calibrate the colors on this beast? BTW, I tried to get through to Aorus/Gigabyte support, but it's been futile. Can you help?

how do you play such huge monitor with keyboard and mouse at close range?

I have this Monitor I am using the DP in Windows I do get 144hz but when it comes to games capped at 60hz I am not sure why either any ideas? I do have the Gigabyte 2070 8GB

Turn on HDR in both Windows and the monitor's settings in the "display" tab.

Thinking about getting one but I have read that some people are having problems with blurred text on this this display. I have you had any problems with text on this display? also do you use any windows display scaling or just run it at 100% ?

I don't have any issues with how text appears using both DP and HDMI 2.1

It would only be an issue if you set scaling to 100% or you're trying to read really tiny text (like an app that doesn't respect the Windows scaling setting). Even then it's readable, but I know some people get headaches. It doesn't bother me.

2070 Super is HDMI 2.0, you need to use the display port to get 4k at 144hz

DP comes with the Monitor.

I just wanna know how to fix the awful auto dimming and flickering. Anytime there’s a massive shift in light in a game, it just gets extremely dim. Not a subtle transition either, just bright and then dark and then bright and then dark again. Putting it into diagnostic mode partially solves the problem but not by much

Do you use the HDR 1000 picture mode for HDR gaming ? It's supposed to be super bright but to me the picture looks extremely dim. Am I missing something here or doing something wrong ?

same here, did you fix it somehow? if im on pc hdr1000 looks pretty bright. But on the ps5 it looks way to dark...

@@BeHempy i found the error, when i updated the monitor firmware 06 it broke hdr on the ps5 for me. Even when calibrated it looked to dimm. So I installed the firmware 06 again but run it as administrator. Fixed the bug for me.

PS5 can only goes up to 120

Important question (going to purchase this) the manual in their website says about HDR: Enable/Disable the HDR function. Note: This option is only available for HDMI input But I noticed you are using displayport (which I plan on using) - is this info wrong? generally speaking is it possible to enable G-SYNC, HDR and use DP in the same time?

I have HDR running via DP right now, but I heard it's more stable over HDMI. I'm just using DP because of my aging GPU. The monitor isn't Gsync certified just yet but VRR works just fine via DP as well.

​@@avrona I ended up ordering GIGAbyte M34WQ after reading countless reviews online I concluded this monitor is a hazard if you dont have good local replace policy - people reporting needing to cycle through 3 monitors until getting one without defects not to mention some annoying firmware problems... In addition I did some testing on my PC with custom resolution - even with my beast HW (5950x + rog strix 3080ti + 3800cl16 + 980pro) many of the games using 4k without DLSS will run around 60-70 fps (and some even with DLSS if they have Ray Tracing).... in that case this monitor is severely crippled because of TERRIBLE response time on 60hz... since g-sync will be ON for me that is where I will hang with those games resulting in terrible smearing and ghosting unless I turn off overdrive completely.... With today's HW 2K (or 2KUW in my case) is at the sweet spot of high fps and nice sharp resolution.... If NVIDIA somehow manages to add DLSS to every game directly from the driver itself I will consider 4K again... The color/HDR/size of this monitor look amazing but its downsides are too bad to overlook....

@@fgrnb353 HDMI does have higher bandwidth compared to DP 1.4 (unless you use DP with DSC) and is generally better. So on this monitor for example, you couldn't use 4k, 144hz, AND HDR, via DP, you'd have to use HDMI 2.1. This monitor still only uses DP 1.4 and not 2.0.

@@avrona are you sure? cause googling around says dp1.4 also available for hdr,144hz. may be its the monitors problem? and latest gpu also provide more dp than hdmi slots..

Avorna can you check.. not sure about windows 10 but.. I just updated this FV43U to firmware F05 and I can pick under Nvidia control panel 8-12bit. Yeah 12 bit? lol

I wouldn’t recommend updating to F05, I did this today and it screwed with my whole PC system, was getting black screen, conflicts with sim racing displays, all Nvidia settings changed, monitor was stuck in 60hz mode and not 144hz. Luckily I managed to revert back to F04 and get my system back to normal.

I own one of these & you're sitting waaaaaaay too close! As it is Im about 750mm away & it's too close for me!

Idk if I posted it already but I ordered mine 8 or 9 times from different vendors, countries and they all came with massive defects such as dead pixels, broken OSD button, broken firmware, stained panel both from outside and inside between different layers. Overheating, sound not working, large scratches, dead and alive bugs inside of the monitor on top of many more issues which I cannot recall again. I'm annoyed that KZreadrs somehow get working products but when I order something, it's broken. It's the biggest thing I've ever wanted to own and now I don't have money either and all of the ones I order are broken :[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[

Very sorry you had this experience but I also gotta say....maaaaybe if it didn't work out well the first 4 times, the next 5 could have been avoided. Not trying to offend but vendors like Amazon, Best Buy, or even Walmart won't have those issues. And if they ever did, there'd be HELL to pay. Just a tip to go with trusted vendors if the products you're getting are always defective. Might mean they're stolen....also, you spent $800+ 9 times!!! Can I borrow $2000?? LoL!!
