Remove silver chloride if any plus it clumps the gold together
Думаю запах слишком чувствуется при таком методе. Как вариант - нормальный метод. I think the smell is too sensitive with this method. As an option - the normal method. ++

Is there a reason why the A.R solution stays cloudy even after a whole day of it sitting after iv added the smb? Some gold has fallen but looks really cloudy still is there a reason for this?

There could be other contaminants. Was it crystal clear before the SMB addition ?

@@unit5207 Золото плавили с серебром, растворяли в азотной кислоте, золото затем кипятили в концентрированной нириевой кислоте, затем пару раз кипятили с дистиллированной водой, затем золото растворяли в царской водке, золото осаждали метабисульфитом натрия, и осадок кипятили в соляная кислота и в конечном итоге в дистиллированной воде.
