About Anjelah:
Anjelah Johnson-Reyes was born and raised in San Jose, California where she grew up with four siblings in a large extended family to which she remains close. Anjelah found herself an internet sensation and pioneer in viral KZread videos when her notorious “Nail Salon” bit from a local comedy show was posted and received over 100 million views! Shortly thereafter she was added to the cast on the original MADtv where she trademarked her legendary character, Bon Qui Qui. Similar to the nail salon video, the Bon Qui Qui sketch caught on and have been viewed by over 75 million people. The multi-hyphenate’s popularity has translated into four successful comedy specials: That’s How We Do It” (Comedy Central), The Homecoming Show (NUVO TV), Not Fancy (Netflix) and Mahalo & Good Night (Epix). She has displayed her acting prowess both on TV and film. Some of her credits include “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Superstore,” “Moms’ Night Out,” and “Alvin & the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel.” Her first book was published in 2022, Who Do I Think I Am: Stories of Chola Wishes and Caviar Dreams, a hilarious and touching memoir full of memorable anecdotes on how a Latina dynamo was able to forge ahead and become successful.

Master of Delivery is a difficult postgraduate degree that only hispanic females are equipped with at birth. You can count the number of bullets per second fired by machine guns, but those things overheat, while women of this persuasion survey the massacred male piles, ready to repeat, should an expiring sigh be heard. They are truthful, and the truth HURTS.

There's always that one person who thinks that comics only use expletives to "fill up space" - or that it's somehow more difficult to be funny without swear words. That's not how it works. ..at all. Some comics swear a lot and some don't. It's the same for everyone else. Some people swear and some don't. A true comedian can get laughs regardless of how clean or dirty their language is. ..and an audience won't laugh at unfunny material just because a few bad words are thrown in to "fill up space". I will never understand why fans of clean comedy are always so elitist about it. In a world where comedy often tiptoes the line of vulgarity, Anjelah Johnson shines as a beacon of pure comedic talent. Her show is a testament to the idea that one doesn’t need to resort to cursing or risqué topics to evoke hearty laughter from an audience. Johnson's humor is genuine, relatable, and quintessentially American. What's truly impressive about Johnson is her ability to draw from everyday scenarios, giving them a humorous twist that resonates with so many. Each joke is a reflection of experiences we've all had at some point in our lives, making every laugh a shared moment of understanding. Beyond her undeniable talent, Johnson carries herself with grace and charisma, making her not just a great comedian but a delightful performer to watch. It's a rare gift to be able to provide wholesome entertainment that appeals to a broad audience, and Anjelah Johnson does it with flair and finesse. For anyone seeking a feel-good comedy show that's free from profanity but rich in relatable humor, Anjelah Johnson is a must-watch. This whole show is just fantastic! Thank you for putting it on KZread.
This is by far one of the best comedians. Only a select few can use such clean content that always comes full circle!! 🙌🏻🎉
I had just come across her show in KZread & now I'm totally hooked. She's so funny & without the foul language..love it! She's beautiful & funny, very good combination. God bless🙏🙏🙏♥️♥️♥️
I love the smile she gives after telling a joke😂😂

@@dystopianspacesaga7093 Look dear I'm not sure how old you are, but you don't have to do anything your parents tell you to do, okay? You can choose your own path in life, you don't have to live by their standards. You are your own person and you can choose when and with who and if you want to marry and if you want children. I'm sorry to hear you have such strict parents, but you don't have to follow their rules. All kids deserve good parents, but not all parents deserve to have kids. And listen here, I understand your struggles, I get that you want to make your parents happy, but your happiness comes first, theirs second. Are you sure you want to live a life with some man who you might not even love, have kids just because your parents said so and stay unhappy forever? That is not right, I'm telling you. They should be your support, not put additional pressure on you. And they don't get to make decisions on your body like that. I grew up Christian too, I would be a regular attendant at church with my parents, for years. But I don't see myself as a Christian anymore, I'm agnostic, and I'm glad to be living my life free of the pressure from some Christian "traditions" so to say. You don't even have to stop being Christian, but you *can* absolutely redefine what that means to you. Because once again, everyone is on their own path in life, religion counts here as well. Trust me, you won't go to hell if you don't have children. Don't you think that your parents might be using those words ("you will go to hell") to make you do stuff that is actually morally wrong, to "manipulate" you? And not just your parents, churches can be foul too. Look, God should be (/is, in my opinion) a being of love. God put you on this Earth to live a happy life of your own, to spread love, to be good to yourself and your neighbors etc., but do you think God stands for people making others do stuff that they don't want to? If he does think "oh this is the only "right" way and everyone else goes to hell" (by the way, realistically, you could go to hell for the smallest of things. I know sooooo many people who are christians and they curse sometimes, and they don't think they'll go to hell, why? Because they've redefined what God means to them. Also, even if you *never* curse let's say, but you think about it, isn't that the same thing? Isn't good an all-knowing being who can read thoughts? So what's the point then, if you say it or not, God heard it anyway. But you can't stop those thoughts! Because that is being a human, we are not all always good, that is not possible. Don't you see how ridiculous that is?), then isn't that God kind of evil? I think you have to gather your own experiences and your own opinions on who God is in itself and who he is to you. If you are unhappy with some parts of the religion, then like I said, you redefine it for yourself or completely try to get rid of it from your heart and brain. Like I said, I'm agnostic, but if there is God, I want to think of that being as a warm, loving "ball" of light. He is there to help you in the times you're unsure, you can confide in him, but he isn't there to choose and say how you live your life. And as far as Bible goes, that book is reallyyyy old, the people who wrote it back then, they had different views on how life should be lived. With times thing change. If Bible was written today, it would probably sound veryyy different you know. Just, I hope you can get out of this situation safely. I will keep your wellbeing in mind.
This woman should be standard prescription for good mental health. What a delight. Thanks for the lift AJR.

Very rare to find a "new" comedy special that is free on a streaming network. You dont even need the paid youtube section to watch this. Shows how Angela Johnson is the voice of the people. She willing to give her fans back for supporting her thoughout the years every since the iconic Nail Salon vietnamese bit.

Comedy gold! How am I just now finding this? Thanks for the laughter so well needed in a stressful time in my life. Laughter is the best medicine. No swearing, no filth, just amazing life comedy. I am convinced that the comedians who must resort to word-filth to get their point across have either not lived thoroughly enough to have gleaned decent material or they simply are not gifted comedians. You are one of the gifted ones. Keep making people laugh girl! I about peed myself with laughter at the tornado part, bc I was actually picked up and dropped by a tornado once and lived to tell about it. And why did that happen? Bc I live in tornado alley and, like your husband, I did not take those warnings seriously enough and didn't take "adequate and immediate shelter" 😀 when I should have. I won't make that mistake again. That was soooooo funny. "GO GO GO GET UP!!" And the "Revenge of the spiders," you wove into the tale. You are truly brilliant.
