    I hope Anita see what you wrote to her. That was very caring and nice of you. The only person whom was concerned about how she's mourning. Be blessed, good heart!

  • @orane3549

    @orane3549

    4 жыл бұрын

    C R That was a huge assumption to think that only one person was "concerned" about how Anita is mourning. I am sure a lot of fans are greatly concerned for the Pointer family right now and especially Anita, myself included. Have said a prayer for her every day since Bonnie passed, just because the same words are not used doesn't decrease the level of concern many are feeling for Anita right now.

  • @cclintrich

    @cclintrich

    4 жыл бұрын

    @@orane3549 That was really unnecessary and pointless! You've apparently assumed something and was very much wrong! The comment was directed at the person whom was showing concerned for her; condolences n sympathy. It does not speak about those whom didn't show or express themselves in the same manner or at all!. But your jealously seems to be directed, because someone was thanking another human, for being supportive. And it sounds like it's coming from a place of envy! You're assuming something, that "you've" taken completely wrongly and/or didn't comprehend. (And had the nerve to scold me like it's your job!) You feel the need to dictate or control someone else's choices of words. When all the time, You could've said to Anita, The Pointer Sisters or whomever; that you're or others are very sorry about their loss! Instead of wasting you're time; spanking me, because I wanted to appreciate Deshaun's nice comment. You could've expressed your very own condolences. Maybe if you would've said something to that vernacular, then you wouldn't have to use wasted time going at me; (because I didn't say what you think that, I should've said)And why would take Deshaun's nice comment of concern, sympathy and my perspective in appreciation, so you could to turn into some negative gripe?! If you were so concerned about what Anita/ The Sisters should have been said- then why are you creating a conflict with someone? I'm pretty sure that's not what she or any of family or fans want to read right now!

  • @cclintrich

    @cclintrich

    4 жыл бұрын

    @@orane3549 Btw you need to look at all the comments under video section; then you'll see why it's directed at Anita and . Also you'll see why I said; "The only one concerned!" When my comment was written a few days ago, Dashuan was they only person whom wrote something as a concerned to Anita! Would've been better, if you would've investigated or ask me. Ask me why did I say that? It would haven't gotten a better response. Because you very much assumed, that I thought (or knew for a fact) he was the only person in the entirety of The Pointer Sisters fans, that was mourning or concerned about how they're holding up. On many of their videos, I offer my condolences to the sisters n family.

    @@hillarygraves9387 I don't know if June ever got clean before her stroke, but I know she died from multiple types of cancer and I get so annoyed when I read comments that judge or criticize her, when they have no idea what June lived through, yet she was still a very kind and loving individual. I wish I had met her like you did. Everyone who met June describes her like you do, so it must be true. Watching her perform is quite different from her sisters IMO. They are all good, but June's dance moves to the songs they'd be singing were exceptional.

    I'm here on my brother's account, but let me tell you all this. I joined the Marine Corps back in February of 1979. I am now a proud United States Woman Marine Veteran and I served my country proudly. Boot camp at Parris Island, SC, was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life, and I am now 59 years old. My recruit company consisted of 62 women recruits and we were completely isolated from all "civilization" for 13 weeks....no radio, no television and only the news that our DI's decided to give us. During that hard, trying time, we took a lot of solace in the "radios" we had in our minds and memories. The Pointer Sisters' music sustained us through those times that we all just wanted to quit and go home. I will always remember the group of us who stood in a "school circle" in our squadbay and sang "Fire" in 4 part harmony. There was something empowering, invigorating and hope-sustaining that summoned within us the strength and cohesiveness to keep going. The Pointer Sisters (the surviving ones) will probably never know how much strength, heart and personal resolve that they and their music gave to 62 scared, lonely young women in a crucial time of development and character building, but they certainly did. Thank YOU, and God bless to each and every Pointer Sister. You all made a very big difference to a LOT of people, particularly this group of 62 young Women Marine recruits at Parris Island, SC, in the Spring of 1979. Semper Fi.

    Say what you want but Bonnie clearly loved her sisters" music even after she left the group because she knew ALL their songs like she was still in the group. That's real family. Fall out but still support. ✊

    RIP Anita. There are times when I see you as the most beautiful woman ever, with a great heart and fantastic sense of fun. All this with everything you had to endure over the years. Classy, classy woman. You are sorely missed.
