I love the Pointer Sisters. I was in the military, stationed in Washington, DC in 1973 when they first came to Georgetown.....and people lined up forever to see them....they broke Bette Midler's record for the crowd...and I think it was a little before they had their first hit! People went crazy to see them! Great, great memories....all beautiful ladies, great singers and sooooo much fun!

I remember seeing them on TV when I was a really little kid and I thought it was Pearl Bailey's show but maybe it was Flip Wilson. I can't find any note of it. I remember it because grandmother was flipping out over the 1940s style of dress and she watched Pearl Bailey

All four of these sisters actually aged very nicely!!!! And they actually had a lot of catchy tunes., even the gimmicky ones where they dressed like the 40s era! I never knew they (with the exception of June), dealt with addictions as well!!!!

I wish you'd be more forthcoming with the reality it always seems like one or another being left out of the conversation we lost Ju e but Bonnie was never around even with her 2 hit career and what about your real beginnings in country Why didnt you rejoin the group Bonnie ? why is Ruth doing the pointers with her children/grandchildren and not sisters? thats what people want to know although we dont really care but we would really like to see you all singing again together before there wont be any more chances dont you guys realize that

There is very recent interview (Apr. 2020) of Anita by Billy Masters where she talks about losing her daughter. It's hard to watch. She says "90%" of herself died with her daughter.
