Anita and Bonnie Pointer, you don't know me but I've christened you two as well as Ruth and June as my honorary aunties. All of you are so relatable that you remind me of members of my family.

June looked just like Bonnie...and Ruth and Anita favor...

It's so great to see Bonnie and Anita appearing again and on good terms. Blood is blood and siblings got to be on good terms so it's terrific they mended ties. I hope they sing again together soon.

It's great to hearing you both share stories! The Pointer Sisters had an amazing career and you were masters at reinventing yourselves through the years. How hard was it to transition from jazz to pop and find a new audience? What do you think were the key factors in your successes and longevity?

I love the Pointer Sisters. I was in the military, stationed in Washington, DC in 1973 when they first came to Georgetown.....and people lined up forever to see them....they broke Bette Midler's record for the crowd...and I think it was a little before they had their first hit! People went crazy to see them! Great, great memories....all beautiful ladies, great singers and sooooo much fun!

Rest in Peace Bonnie Pointer 🕊️. Both were still beautiful and youthful 💗

How am I just now finding this? So amazing to see you both - been a life long fan. Have so many memories based on your records, TV appearances and concerts. So many memories. Love love love you.

I remember seeing them on TV when I was a really little kid and I thought it was Pearl Bailey's show but maybe it was Flip Wilson. I can't find any note of it. I remember it because grandmother was flipping out over the 1940s style of dress and she watched Pearl Bailey

I wish you'd be more forthcoming with the reality it always seems like one or another being left out of the conversation we lost Ju e but Bonnie was never around even with her 2 hit career and what about your real beginnings in country Why didnt you rejoin the group Bonnie ? why is Ruth doing the pointers with her children/grandchildren and not sisters? thats what people want to know although we dont really care but we would really like to see you all singing again together before there wont be any more chances dont you guys realize that

There is very recent interview (Apr. 2020) of Anita by Billy Masters where she talks about losing her daughter. It's hard to watch. She says "90%" of herself died with her daughter.

Like she said in her book "Fairytale" it is too painful. Perfectly understandable! Anita did not just lose a child, but she lost her ONLY child.:-(
