Adele is fabulous....Angelina is unbelievable. Angelina's voice and ability to connect you to her feelings is unmatched in music. She is the G.O.A.T. already. I've been a musician for the last 40 yrs or so and she is the epitome of what I wish I could achieve, I'm no where close unfortunately, but then again, no one is..... she is a gift from God to the world

And since you asked about a technical point regarding your camera placement, it would be better if the camera is closer to the place you are watching (so we can see your expressive eyes as you react). As it is the camera only sees your face when you look up at it, not while you're watching a video. Just my 2cents. We love you anyways!

How many pop stars sing about grief and loss? That choice shows both her own integrity and her respect for her fans. (It's for her grandfather.) She's up to a couple million views I think.

i am 57, i listen to her performance when she was 7...i was shocked, i listen her next level when she was 9, i was blown away, i listen to her bohemian rhapsody at 13, i was amazed, she reached again another level..and now she is 15 and writes such an unbelievable song on her own and i am crying. I hope to get old enough to hear her when she sings at an age of 30-40 with all her lifeexperience and fully grown voice, this must be something soo amazing and divine...

Adelle is no where close as far as the performance goes. Adelle is a magnificent lyricist though, and Angelina is obviously on her way to matching her there, maybe surpassing her. We will see.

she put the official music video for this song on the net 2 days ago, it is much stronger in the emotions than the studio version i can only recommend it to you, hard to believe but at the moment she is 6.1 feet tall

She's almost 6' tall. Angelina has been my salvation during this lockdown period. What that girl can do with her voice - her incredible voice - never ceases to amaze me and bring me to places I couldn't even imagine. She often has me in tears from the sheer beauty of the sound. @@Galantus1964 I'm afraid Angelina should have been born back in the good old days (40's /50's) when classics and Jazz was really appreciated. Now she has a uphill battle to convert these kids that go crazy over songs like "Drivers License", and Grace VanderWall''s "stuff".

I don’t know why we are surprised at the level of emotion Angelina puts into this song (and I tear up almost every time I hear it). This was very personal for her. In some of her other covers, she sings about events she hasn’t yet experienced and does it with great emotion (ie A Million Years Ago). She has that ability to convey such heavy emotion with her style and timber of her voice. Keep the hits coming Angelina!

Angelina and her parents had strict instructions that if she signed on with Republic Records that her schooling came first and she would not be pushed into a big recording schedule,, republic has held up their part at this point and is releasing songs as she records them once she is done with schooling they will be producing more and promoting then

Actually it shows 950,000 views 1 month ago. It did hit 1 million views before her birthday 1/10.

Its a very personal song for Angelina and that is what you can feel.

Great reaction! To be a great singer, you also have to be a great actor - to make the audience not only hear the song, but to FEEL it with you. AJ has both of those gifts, so her ability to not only sing it, but to "empathize" it to us is what impresses me (and at such a young age.) She's quite an amazing gem. And don't feel guilty about those comparisons to other "great ones". As long as you recognize her as her own voice they're perfectly valid, and she should be flattered, and her fans should be proud.

Actually I do not believe Angelina acts. This amazing young lady who appears in front of you is exactly the same person she was when she was six. There is no acting as she is actually just her. Her empathy is reality which is what endears her to us. Angelina is talking directly to every person who listens to her.

@@billweekley4077 I think I know what you're saying, Bill. And I agree she's always had "IT". What I meant by acting was that her musical choices reflect an uncanny "understanding" not just of the music itself, but also the emotion behind it (even though she can't have experienced it all at her young age.) And she conveys that emotion to us with not just the words and music in the song, but also her artistry. In fact, I've heard it put that she's an "old soul". She does almost have me believing in "spiritual channeling" or reincarnation or some other such magic. Whatever it is though, she's a very, very talented treasure.

I agree with both of you with one proviso. From my observations I have come to the conclusion that two different entities inhabit Angelina' the "performance" Angelina and the "every day" Angelina. The first has the ability which no other artist has of living, of feeling, of being totally "in" the song in such a way that she is experiencing the "emotions" within the lyrics and melody. It isn't acting. And then, when she has finished the song the "every day" Angelina appears almost instantaneously. Two songs which spring to mind emphasising my opinion are "I put a spell on you" and "Feeling good". Watch and listen and note, in the first her contemplative pose at the end and in the second her sweet smile and demur curtsey at the end.

It is 09.50 am. Sunday 31 Jan 2021 here in New Zealand and a quick search has revealed that the three version of "Million Miles" has received 1,563,872 views (Lyrics video = 470,535, Live Studio version = 947,975. Music video = 141,359) but we must add to that the number of views received on Reaction channels. I did an analysis at the beginning of January which showed for the both the versions then available the song had been viewed 1,657,410 times. So, in total a very conservative number of views would be 3,221,282 (3 million, 221 thousand, 282)

Loly welcome back to Angelina's world. Indeed she has grown up and last I heard she was 6 foot 1 inch tall. Her voice continues to mature and in my opinion she wrote a masterpiece in Million Miles. Everyone can relate to this song and therefore it will be listened to until the end of time, bringing comfort to anyone who has lost a loved one. No offense to the great Adele but her performances never moved me emotionally while Angelina makes me FEEL her music and she is the only vocalist to make me cry.

Also to let you know there is 3 versions of this song, this studio version, a Home Movie version which her uncle (and manager) plays her late grandpa and her little sister plays a younger version of Angelina, her real grandpa's pictures are on the wall and his real shoes and sweater also. And the third version is her grandma's art work that has been animated to move and someone has dubbed, this is Angelina singing in Cursive, which is fitting when you see that version. All are a must see... my personal version is the home movie version

Great reaction! Why no 1million views? Good question. My thoughts are this; 1. Republic was caught off guard by this production. Angie was already working with Stargate before Republic was on the scene. It was the demo of this song that lead to her signing with Republic. All republic had to do was shoot a couple of videos. 2. Baby girl just turned 15 lol, yes, she is ONLY 15! Team Angie is still in control of everything. It's my opinion that at this point they still want to take things slow with her career. Allow her to grow up as normal as possible. lol. Nothing about Angie is or ever will be normal. Everyone, especially Republic Records know what they have in our Angel. It's a song for the ages, particularly as you said, with all that's happening in the world lately. Although Angelina wrote it about the passing of her grandpa and her feelings about him, it is so relatable for many people! In fact she dedicated the song to all who have lost loved ones. But specially today, it can also be applied to family and friends that have been apart because of covid restrictions, reassuring them they will never alone, although the physical presence of those loved ones is not with them. Now, there's a music video too. And let me tell you if this one was emotional, I can't tell you how heart wrenching and at the same time comforting the video is. Her little sister plays young Angelina and Michael, her uncle/manager plays Angelina's grand father, his own father! Amazing family affair as we are used to with Angelina. I think that a year in Angelina's musical career is like 10 for other singers. In just over a year the amazing voice she always had has been amplified, is more powerful and refined! Unbelievable.
