Moría porque escucharas esta canción. "A un millon de millas de distancia, halando contigo mi corazón como una burbuja vacía, y no lo puedo detener, pero en mi corazón sé, que nunca estoy sola" Esta canción la ha compuesto para su abuelo que falleció no hace mucho (1 año a lo más creo?) y quien ha dejado un gran vacío en su joven corazón. Por eso le canta con tanto sentimiento. Amo la letra y amo como ha elaborado el tema. Bien decis, que no necesita de los embelecos en la canción pero de haberlos, es puro marketing; como ahora canta bajo la disquera Republic, suelen hacer estos extras que a veces pueden ser demás. Esperemos no le quiten su esencia. 🙏. Gracias por esta reacción. Me encanta ver como la disfrutas.

She dedicated this song to her grandfather who passed away in 2018 and to all who lost a loved one. Happy Birthday Angelina, May you have continued success on your vocal journey. I have been enchanted by Angelina’s voice since I first heard her singing on Norway’s Got Talent. She is in the making of her new album with REPUBLIC RECORDS. I think she is recording now at Stargate Studio in Venice CA.

@@ooshta, Yes, I have that one. It took forever to get here from Norway. I'd settle for an album with a couple of her best covers, but I would sincerely hope they would offer it on vinyl for some of us older fans. I followed a young lady for a while that won American Idol, she signed with Disney. Her first (and only that I am aware of) "Album", was only available on download and streaming. Yes, I understand things are changing, but that stopped me from buying her album. I want something I can hold in my hand, when I make a purchase.

I agree with you: she doesn't need the effects. When I first heard this song it didn't sound like the pure Angelina I loved. It sounded engineered. It's Angelina's voice I love, not technical overlays. I hope they don't ruin her career with this commercialization. It takes away from her.

I've probably watched this 50 times, and this is the first with that particular sound effect.

Yes, Angelina is most likely adding "commercial" touches now that she is under a recording label. Sounds great to my ears however. Monica, no es la primeira canción que escribe. Antes de esa ya tiene "What is Life", "Oslo" y "Shield" 😉 Este su abuelo falleció cerca del final 2019. A su otro abuelo, que falleció en la segunda mitad de 2018, le dedicó su interpretación de "You Are Always On My Mind".

Hi again Ceci, You'd think this would of been released all over the world as her single. But it was only released in 2 countries, very briefly. In Spain & Australia. Sad isn't it, this could of been song of the year easily. I wonder what Republic records is up to. I hope they don't try & change her into a commercial product like so many young singers they have in the past all to serve the god of money, power, materialism & popularity.

Though she is constantly referred to as a Norwegian Princess it should be noted that she inherited her strikingly dark features from her maternal grandmother, Mery Zamani, who was Persian. Also, Zamani was also a child prodigy (artist) and is world famous for her artistic representations. At 6 ft. tall, this 'Persian Princess' can go right now from the models runway to the concert stage in a 'New York Minute'.

Hi, you comment is all fine. However, Angelina's maternal grandmother IS still alive and well. It was much through her that AJ's interest and love for jazz came to life and her grandmother is still a very big part of AJ's life and artistic development.

With regard to her being a very big part of Angelina's life, I don't think anyone else was and still is an integral part of Angelina's as much as her grandmother and I would lean toward Angelina's original love for jazz came from her. I still remember her cheering in the audience of NGT, waving a poster that mentioned Angelina with a photo of Louis Armstrong playing his trumpet also shown.

@@arctic_haze Her mom and uncle (manager) are 1/2 Persian and 1/2 Japanese. The father is Swedish and possibly part Norwegian but I'm not sure of the Norwegian part.

@@ridgemanron I understand that it was not your intention. You wrote "Mery Zamani, who was Persian", which would suggest she is no longer Persian. That would only be possible if she is not alive anymore, which she is. It has been a lot of talk about who AJ wrote million miles to. Some think it is her grandfather (correct) and others think it was a grandmother. Some think it's either a grandfather or a grandmother. A mis-used "was" at the wrong place may contribute to such a confusion. That's why I commented on that.
