BUT, I find it Absolutely Amazing that Angelina can put so much Emotion and passion, and personality and presence into an Original song. This is a GEM of a song, with extreme potential to bring the listener through a purging healing journey. 😢😭😔😯☺😊😁😍🥰 It helped me through one of my thoughest periods of my life during autumn 2020, first version that came out was a lyrics video, and trust me; THAT was intense. I bawled my eyes out, poured out my soul, hang it to dry. I had it on repeat for hours at end. One day, I was able to listen to the song, sing along. It was like the sun rose in my soulscape. 🌞 No wonder Quincy Jones has said she's the biggest voice since Michael Jackson. ANGELina wrote this when she was 14. 1st release on Republic Records. In Oslo he was a highly respected member of the community, because he went out, sometimes with little AJ, and brought food to the homeless of Oslo. When he could, he organized for a job. This example lives on in AJ. It was reported, that she was seen in the evenings, to bring dinner to the homeless of LA. By all chances, I do not know how true it is, but it fits AJ. I suspect, no one would bother her, when walking through a district of LA, where the unfortunate ones live. There should be more people like her grandpa. @@dhamma58 I'm not particularly interested in film stars, so was only peripherally aware of Angelina Jolie. All I could remember is that she had been married to the actor Brad Pitt. So, I've just been on Wikipedia to increase my knowledge. She has certainly achieved much in her life. I think that Angelina will do more, but probably without all the razzmatazz that film stars seem to generate. Unfortunately, I will not be around when Angelina hits her mid-twenties, unless I am very, very lucky.

The Jolie reference was a bit of fun...but a quick shot of Wikipedia is always for me a way to learn almost anything. As always, thanks to the great AT superfan!

Her voice has matured. She was always outstanding, but one could kind of hear it in the timbre, that it was a child producing this amazing sound. Now it's a more grown up voice.

This original song was about her grandfather who passed away in 2019.It was published in December 2020, one month before her 15th birthday.

I find when I listen to Angelina that I feel the music much more than with other artists.

She was 14 years old in this video. She has more talent in her young life than most other performers have who have been around for twice as long. Shield, 7th Heaven are also her original songs. Shield was when she was 12 years old. 7th Heaven was from the same time as Million Miles. She is now 18 years old and has a new song she wrote about the reason she performs barefoot. The song is called Princess of Ruins. Only live performances from her 2 concerts in Las Vegas very recently.

Angelina has that rare ability to make you feel emotion from her voice alone, even when you are not yet keyed in to the message of the song. So right off the bat here, you are drawn into her pain, and when you realize that she is singing about the loss of her beloved grandfather, you understand the why that emotion is so intense. Pure genius. I would suggest that you look at the lyric video for this song. The pictures were drawn by her grandmother, the very talented, Mery Zamani. The pictures are an amazing depiction of a child's yearning for what has been lost.

I believe both her and her Grandmother drew the art work, Angelina is a pretty decent artist herself and she had a good teacher her and her grandmother also make or sew a a lot of her outfits.

There is something about every cover AJ does, they always sound much better than you have ever experienced them in the past. It is more than remarkable; it is astonishing how she affects one's innermost being by drawing you in and holding you as you anticipate each heartwarming phrase. This time she is covering herself in this performance of Million Miles, a song she wrote and performed when she was younger and as usual, she has out done herself. She draws you in like no other storytelling ARTIST can and you feel each phrase like she is your best friend and confiding in you.
