I've seen it said that she KNOWS where each of us keeps our hearts, and how to touch it. She is an addiction for me, in 73 years I've never seen or heard a singer as proficient or effective.

"Go out and give them jazz" "An old soul that has lived many lives" "You ARE music!" "You are born to sing" "We have a star!" "I could feel that sad Sunday" These words were prophetic. And to quote you, "Her voice is just something of the Angels"

Even more remarkable is Angelina’s next audition song-another Billie Holiday classic: I’m a Fool to Want You. She sings it a cappella because…why not? You hear every nuance of her incredible seven year old voice because that’s the only sound. And that one could bring you to tears, too. I know some people are born with incredible voices, but how does Angelina give us phrasing, emotion, vibrato at this age?

Thanks for another great heartfelt reaction to Angelina's masterful performance at her NGT audition - at age 7. She has been blessed with the GOD given gift of a beautiful voice - & also the ability to emote the essence of each song she sings direct to our hearts & souls. This allows us to not only hear, but also to deeply FEEL her amazing music. Hope you will continue to react to the rest of her NGT performances (I'm A Fool To Want You, Bang, Bang & Summertime). Thank you. And may GOD continue to watch over & bless Angelina Jordan.

Your in pretty good company. Many many other reactors also cry and get goosebumps when they react to Angelina. I'm 72 years old and still tear up when I listen to her. She also does "I'm a Fool to Want You" by Billie Holiday. It's a rehearsal video when she was 11 done in one take. If you close your eyes you would think it's Billie Holiday singing. Angelina captures Jazz at its best. If you watch the mashup video, it's hard to tell them apart. Her second song on NGT, still at 7, is the acapella version of the same song. It was the judges elimination round. Both are amazing.

You really should check out the rest of her Norway's Got Talent performances , they all will blow your mind !! In the second round she sang another Billie Holiday song This time she did it completely Acapella , in the 3rd round she Sang Bang , Bang which was originally written by Sonny Bono and sang by Cher and later covered by Nancy Sinatra. In my humble opinion Angelina's version eclipsed both of those ladies efforts !! In the final round she sang Summertime and blew away her competition. She won the competition with 46% of the total vote !! The remaining 9 finalists split the remaining 54% between them!

Jordan attended the Oslo Waldorf School and participated in the Oslo School of Music and Performing Arts after-school program ♥👣 Here is a quote from Angelina (7y) from an interview with TV2 after her Audions NTG 2014. "The reason I chose this song is completely random. I love jazz, but" Gloomy Sunday "was random. It was a night I could not sleep and my mother was stressed that I was awake long after midnight. Then I borrowed my mom's iPad where I wanted to listen to jazz on KZread before I fell asleep. Then came a picture of a beautiful lady screaming at the sky and with her eyes closed. I heard the song "Glommy Sunday" that night and then I had to hear it every day. I love the melody. I understood well what the text was about because I know English well. Every time I sang it I felt something special about it, it's hard to explain in words. When I sang it for mom, she said that this song is nice, but that it was incredibly sad song. " ♥👣 Christian Honkanen One of the judges (Omer Bhatti) commented on Angelina's performance on AGT saying: “We were in shock when she started to sing…it was a discussion whether it was an impression of that kind of music (ref to Gloomy Sunday performance) or the real deal…and the next time we saw her, she owned the stage, when she rehearsed, she told the bassist what she wanted and had full control. And we were like…ok…you are a star…we have something special here… David Fehlman In a interview after this performance Angelina's mom was asked why she was crying during her performance?? Were they happy tears?? Mom said; " They were happy tears but they were also sad tears because I know I just lost my daughter to the world at that point in time” ♥

Welcome to the club! When Heidi Klum asked Angelina how old she was when she won Norway's Got Talent, Angelina answered, "I was 7." As soon as I was blown away by "Bohemian Rhapsody," I immediately searched YT to see if her NGT audition was available. I closed my eyes and HAD to open them again to make sure that Billie Holiday wasn't standing on that stage. And, like you and the blonde judge, I had tears in my eyes before Angelina finished her audition - her "official" introduction to the world. IMO, Our generation is fortunate to witness such an extraordinary group of talented individuals. Aurora, Dimash, Kamila Valieva (Russian Figure Skater), and a very few other rare individuals who, with their talent, are changing the world for the better. Angelina stands alone in this group in that at the age of 6, she declared and initiated her world mission for the children of the world. Her barefoot appearances are a reminder that the goal cannot be forgotten.

I felt the same way, man. She IS the voice of this generation. The covers she kept putting out. Again during the pandemic when people were trapped at home around the world with their computers. It's like the Beatles did with our rock n roll music. Its a foreign interpretation of our own standard classics. Remember how good that Sinatra tune was? here's my version of it. Her more modern covers are one thing (and they are spectacular). But her covers of older standards, Fly me to the moon, you make me feel like a natural woman,...She's saying THIS is how good these songs were. Then she covers Adele songs that Adele literally JUST put out. And damn if she doesn't do them better. She is a force. But her and Rose' from Blackpink are among a very few who can turn on their camera phones in some airport lounge, sing at them and create liquid GOLD. I don't know anyone else who is that talented. Just keeping in mind the equipment they are broadcasting into,... they are saying yeah I am that good.

G., Angelina is highly gifted, She is literally emphatic and has a high IQ. I KNOW, I got downbeat by commenters before. I met highly gifted kids and did a guided tour through our Zoo. I had to talk to those 6-7 yo kids, like i would talk to university profs and senior students. Angelina is in that category. She is a hard worker, a wonderful human beeing and a phantastic artist, seamstress (yes she sewes her "stage clothes" herself, helped by grandma Mery.) and arranger of songs and stages. I hate to put humans on a pedestal, thats why I write in comments about the reasons she can do this. Still if you got a gift from the universe/God, you have to recognize it,use it and train/exercise it. AJ is a driven woman with her art/craft. Remember please since she was 7 yo, she helped with her little sister Juliette, she went to "normal" school, studied and still studies Music and Performing Arts, write her songs, does covers, she went to charity concerts all over the world. It is said at this concerts she raised 21 MILLION USD. I wonder, does she sleep at all. Today at official age of 16, she looks and sound more like a 26-30 years old woman. She could be a model with Heidi Klum, ore a famous clothes designer and Taylor, she could teach Japanese like her mother or give masterclasses as a top notch vocal trainer. But "music is like air for me, I can not live without it." she said. G. you stay safe and sound. German greetings.

Her voice drips with sincerity. You believe every word that comes from her mouth. She is already learning about nuance. She is a perfect match for Billie's version. She has changed some of the words to deflect the darker meanings of this song. Angelina is one half a pair of young singers I call, 'The Twins' They are two of a kind in that they both compel the listener to feel their songs. They both know how to get you to become part of the performance. There are reasons I call them 'The Twins'. They were both born in 2006. They both possess voices of seemingly much older singers. They have both won major singing competitions. They both are heavily into their families and their families support them completely. They are both well liked by everyone including their competition. The other half of the Twins is of course Daneliya Tuleshova. I found both these wunderkind's three nights apart in the wee hours of morning as I deal with chronic pain and many nights I am awakened by some vicious bouts with it. I always turn to the internet, by the way what a blessing the computer and the net are, when the pain gets worse I start cruising the net looking for new singers to listen to. The girls both have different directions Angelina leaning towards Jazz, while Daneliya is more Pop oriented. I am going to give you Daneliya's blind audition to The Voice Kids Ukraine. She sings Demi Lavato's 'Stone Cold' that went viral and has over 76 million views. However, you must listen to her whole audition to hear what the judges/coaches say to her about her ability. It comes with English subtitles. The audition is 10:30 long but she does sing a second song as an encore. But what they say to her is amazing. I leave the link at the bottom. These two young ladies are going to be special for years to come. I am also leaving you a short but amazing TikTok performance by Angelina. kzread.info/dash/bejne/nHuJ06uOZtieddo.html Daneliya at 10 years old 'Stone Cold' Please watch the whole thing. She cuts you to the bone, every damn time. Another reactor brought up the Spanish term El Duende, and I think it sums it up perfectly: "El duende is the spirit of evocation. It comes from inside as a physical/emotional response to art. It is what gives you chills, makes you smile or cry as a bodily reaction to an artistic performance that is particularly expressive."

I saw this on the original show back in 2014. When I heard her say what she was going to sing, in the intro, before she entered the stage, I was thinking " no no no, don't do a jazz classic from Billie Holiday! You are 7 years old! Do something for Annie or something a young child can do." I was so nervous for her. That cute little girl. And then she started to sing.. Naturally, I was shocked. I laughed, I cried. And I was an instant fan. I knew then and there that this was obviously the greatest talent on that show. And probably the greatest song talent in modern times. I still belive she is the latter. There is now and also has been in previous times GREAT song talents. But she is just something completely different. The emotions, rhe emotions, the emotions. The voice and control. Progressively getting better for each day still. This little angel is indeed blessed. 💖

Until then, it is up to us angels to introduce her to more people and to boost her analytics on KZread. G.O.T. thank you for reacting to Angelina as it will introduce her to more people. She turns everyone into mush! Her grandmother is an Iranian poet and painter, who has a real love for early blues and jazz and was a big inspiration to Angelina. Angelina actually wrote a song dedicated to her grandfather who passed away called "Million Miles" and all of the artwork in the video was done by her grandmother. Make sure you have plenty of tissues handy for that one. The artwork on the outfit that she wore for her "Bohemian Rhapsody" audition on AGT was also done by her grandmother. She has a way of making you forget, if only for a moment, all of the craziness in the world today. I love you Luke, I have been here from early on, and have seen the channel really take off. I can honestly say, I couldn't be happening to a better person. Keep doing you.

The young juror here is Omer Bhati, he was the protege of MICHAEL JACKSON. Michaels children see him as their older brother. Omer is to this day a fast friend of AJ and her family. After NGT he often offered to drive AJ around in Oslo. In a norwegian interview he told: "When Angelina started to sing in the car, I had to drive to the side/curb. I could not drive when she was singing". Omer introduced Angelina to the Jackson family. Today they are fans and friends of her.

This is when all the talk about Billie Holiday being reincarnated into a 7 year old girl from Norway, of all places. If you listen to Billie's rendition when she was 29, except for the fact that as an adult she has more power in her delivery, they otherwise sound as if one singer sang both songs. She also shows this 'vocal chameleon' ability when she cover's another jazz great named Dinah Washington. In that one, Angelina is 8 but the similarity in tone and style is so very much 'on point' with Dinah.

I still mist up every time I hear this song. I was startled the first time I heard it. It's like she's actually channeling Billie Holiday. It amazes me, even after dozens of listens, that a 7-year old Norwegian girl has the phrasing and timing of a seasoned jazz singer. She continues to be remarkable to this day.

Angelina was the last to audition that day, and the judges had been given no heads-up about her vocal ability. Omer Bhatti (the younger NGT judge) said in a later interview: "“We were in shock when she started to sing…it was a discussion whether it was an impression of that kind of music (ref to Gloomy Sunday performance) or the real deal…and the next time we saw her, she owned the stage, when she rehearsed, she told the bassist what she wanted and had full control. And we were like…ok…you are a star…we have something special here…”.

I’ve now heard most of what she has recorded. And what I’ve noticed most about her is how her voice WILL BRING TEARS to any normal person listening to her song. She brings an inexplicable emotion to every song she performs. Age aside. Song aside. ... her voice is not earthly. It is other worldly. I defy anyone that listens to her , watches her perform, not be brought to tears. Absolutely stunning young girl. Young lady now. Because she’s 17 or 18 now. Nevertheless, an unforgettable talent earth is blessed to have.

Hi GOT, Nice reaction & I agree with what you said, & she'll keep doing that to you every time you listen to her. “The reason I chose this song is completely random. I love jazz, but “Gloomy Sunday “ was random. It was a night I could not sleep and my mother was stressed that I was awake long after midnight. Then I borrowed my mom's iPad, where I wanted to listen to jazz on KZread before I fell asleep. Then came a picture of a beautiful lady screaming at the sky and with her eyes closed.
