Angelina is seen writing her 'wishes' for how she wanted to sing the song at the start of the video. The candle has a picture of the original artist, Screamin Jay Hawkins. Most people don't take notice of the very end of the video, with Angelina contemplating her performance. *Why Angelina always performs barefoot* At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East. I recommend you a Spanish singer her name is Diana Navarro with the song "El perdón" she is a singer that transmits a lot when she sings and has incredible melismas. She is also very versatile when it comes to singing. She sings different musical styles. Best regards
