A barefoot princess with a hypnotic voice. Angelina Summertime (George Gershwin song) was based on Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong version. There's some 'blue notes' here. This early performance of "Summertime" was so impressive. I loved it. Her first audition on the show of "gloomy Sunday" by Billie Holiday was the one that made people's head's snap back in her direction, first catching the attention of an international audience. But her second one, another Billie Holiday song, was impossibly done with no music and all her competitors standing just behind her, showing on stage she has no nerves. She pretty much left everyone speechless. The next one I think, "Bang Bang", let everyone know she was not limited to old school jazz. She is one of the most versatile singers in the world. So many wonderful covers and originals. She's not scared of tackling complex songs from top artists.

Incredibly, we watch her videos and see a child and expect her voice to falter or her timing to be rushed or be off some way. But we also hear her voice and are stunned with how mature her skills are, how well she controls he vocals, how amazing her timing is that at times sounds like it is about to be off and then it's perfect. Her earliest jazz lessons from the greats have formed her skills. And still today she brings those lessons into every song so incredibly.

Record companies flew to Norway to attempt to sign her, but Angelina's family wanted to give her as normal a childhood as possible. Her wise and loving family had the means to travel the world with Angelina, who got to sing for Kings and Queens, Prime Ministers and other important people. Mostly, her family chose to have her perform at events which raised mone for charity, mostly to benefit children. Angelina is doing two shows at the Westgate Resort and Casino, in Las Vegas, on Feb 29, 2024.

Sir, Miss Angelina is practicing/training since the age of 3 almost every day for hours. She went to the academy for music and performing arts Oslo at age 4. A driven souls who said: "singing is life, like breathing, I can not live without it."

She was, even at this age, a beautiful young singer who touched people's hearts. Her major concern was always how to get the message of love in the song to those listening to her. One thing which we don't take for granted for but we don't talk about much is even at 8 years old, her poise and confidence. We are in a Talent Show and the stakes are high! Not only does she never miss a note but she smiles at exactly the right time when singing. While she listened to the judges she stood there quietly and responded with a smile when they were done saying nice things about her. And, at the very end when the woman asked Angelina how she felt (asking an 8 year older that could turn into a giggle) Angelina paused for a second and then, very quietly told the woman she felt fantastic. ARE YOU KIDDING ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jay, you were right on when you said history was being made when Angelina appeared on Norway's Got Talent. And I'm sure you have found out about the 'shoe story'. She was barefoot singing 'Summertime' and she is now 18 and is still singing barefoot. She has vowed to keep singing barefoot until all the children in the world have shoes to wear. Why do I believe someday down the road, Angelina will play a major role in making that happen. Don't know how but if she needs volunteers there's about several hundred million people around the world who will be there for her and to support her cause. Nobody's playin here Jay. Angelina never plays. When it comes to singing Angelina is all Pro. She is always on the top of her game. Angelina has never let it go to her head. She is the most grounded genuine humble and I would even say, shy human being I have ever known. She is fearless when it comes to singing and taking on the biggest of music history. She is not intimidated by any one and she has met some of the most amazing people of current music and even global history. Everybody from Quincy Jones to Barack Obama. But when she is interacting with fans onstage I believe she is very much just a shy young girl who feels uncomfortable with all the adoration that is heaped upon her by her fans when she is performing on stage. She may grow out of that at some point but remember right now she is still only 18 and concerts are still relatively new even for Angelina. She has a whole career ahead of her. Her reactions are genuine humility. We all know how good she is and I have to believe Angelina knows how good she. It's just not in her nature to boast about it. We, as fans, will relay that message to the world. If we have anything to say about it. Angelina will one day sit upon the throne of the best of the best. She is already there for many of us. She will take on any song, in any genre and from any of the great's iconic songs of the last 100 years. And she kills them! Since she was pre-school, Angelina has always been the only one to choose the songs and how she would sing/arrange them. Fantastic reaction my friend. As you can see, Angelina Jordan is a timeless soul and was born to sing. She is fearless, undaunted and so competent on stage it's uncanny to watch. She truly understands what she's singing and with her free-flowing jazz influenced vocals is able to bring such an emotional connection to her audience. This girl is only 8 years old in this video and she immediately draws you in and you immediately want to listen to more.
