Angelina released a 3 song Christmas special at 8 years old. Released a full album with the Official Norway military band recorded Age 11. Wrote her first songs at 11-12 and is an unstoppable dynamo with all things music. Thanks for joining us and best wishes from your northern buddy in Alaska.

She sings just as well in upbeat jazz, soul, ballads, r&b, blues, and pop. I’ve never seen anyone who can capture genres so perfectly. And you’d love watching her even younger channeling in her own way Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, and other 50’s & 60’s singers. One more comment. Much more than a performance, a visual, musical, and vocal experience deserving complete attention to every second, every movement, facial expression, gesture, and nuance. Possibly the most impressive child singer video ever. Especially when you know she arranged this piece herself to pay tribute to the original artist. Screamin Jay Hawkins was a black entertainer in the mid 50's that did this piece as a parody to get more notice and TV bookings, not an easy feat in the mid 50's for a black man. Her tribute to him was to take his parody song and make a serious jazz piece to honor him. The writing at the beginning is her last minute changes for the band. She is such a selfless artist and person.

Every once in a while I just have to come back and rewatch some Of these great 1st time impressions and reactions and especially videos like this one and so many other AJ songs as well as other bands like WITHIN TEMPTATION, Unleash the Archers and panatonics , Post Modern Jukebox and others

I can understand why many are suggesting her latest work, but I would go with your plan to listen to her chronologically so as to hear her unbelievable progression. Watch for any signs of nervousness on her part, you won't find it. A child prodigy that is becoming an adult prodigy, and well grounded role model.

Want to be even more floored.....By this time (she was nine here) she was doing all her own notation and arrangements....Means these musicians are playing what she has requested. At the beginning of the video you see her writing, and then you see one of the band members looking at the notes, and cracking a grin.

Sir, welcome, when Angelina Jordan (AJ) was 18 MONTHS she sang Whitney Houston in English (there are videos). When 4 years old she entered the Academy of music and performance arts in Oslo. She studied all they had to offer, including performance and Classical singing. When 12 years old the academy told her, they could not teach her any more, because she had learned every thing they had to offer. To continue her studies, her family moved to LA, where she continued school and music. Mid 2022 she will finish high school and start her professional career in earnest. Please don´t be surprised about her talents, that are many. Speaking Norse, swedish, English, farsi, japanese fluently (because of her family) and a bit of French and German. Playing Keyboard, Guitar, flute and violin. She designes her "performance clothes" herself and sewes them herself, she also arranges her songs since age 7 and today writes and paints the story boards of her videos. The CEO of Republic Records (RR) himself asured her to have cade blanche in her career and the Studioboss of the RR-Studios LA is her pianist and a good friend. Oh I forgot something..... In Norway she is referred to as the national treasure, because (I got multible confirmation) at age 8 she was declared national treasure of Norway by the people, the government and the royal family. 1. AJ began singing at 18 months. Her grandmother was a jazz/blues fan and played that genre of music for AJ. She fell in love with it very early on and has even arranged most if not all that she sings from age 8. What an incredible talent. 2. Now, in this year of 2022 she stands at 6 foot tall and still in her mid teens. She still performs publically barefoot. 3. The backstory of her encounter with the homeless girl she met while she traveled with her family through Iran at age 6 includes the weather damaged bare feet of the child she gave her own shoes to. 4. The reason she performs barefoot is to bring awareness to her public of the children worldwide who can't afford shoes of their own. She has raised millions of dollars for clothing including shoes for those unfortunate children. 💕

It's not for nothing that Quincy Jones invited Angelina to open for his anniversary concert in London in 2018. That Norah Jones congratulated her at a joint concert in Asia. That Queen was impressed with her bohemian rhapsody adaptation. And that many other professionals have collaborated or wanted to collaborate with Angelina.

Angelina did the musical arrangement herself. The band call her "The Little Boss". Band has to follow her not the other way around.

Angelina is 16 years old now and her voice has matured and its as beautiful as ever. she is also an amazing song writer. she lost her grandfather when she was 11 or 12 somewhere around there, she wrote a song for him and its so frigging sad and beautiful. the song is called " Million Miles". there are 3 videos of the song out , the first one is an animation using drawings that Angelina and her grandmother did, the second version is a studio video using the original studio recorded music. the 3rd and best video is a "live in studio" black and white version. the music is more mature and subtle than the other videos. i beg of you to watch the video before you do a reaction to the video and just let the song grab your soul. you will see what she can do.

9 year 2 month old Angelina, even at this tender age was on a mission to sing for the entire world. No doubt she is a prodigy but unlike any we have seen before. Angelina has always created her own arrangements then deliver a song better than a seasoned veteran. Here is the story why she ALWAYS PERFORMS BAREFOOT. At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East.

Her voice is like Silk and Honey & many state she is Pure Medication . I state the same Angelina is pure medication. You don't have to worry - she is 16 now, and she can do all genres - a vocal chameleon. She has only gotten better, it is insane. She performed at Quincy Jones 85th B-day, and he privately told her she was the best singer since Michael Jackson. She is truly a phenomena. Can't wait to hear more reactions of her music.

She sings barefoot because when she was traveling through a poor country when she saw a little girl like her without shoes and she gave her the ones she was wearing. She won't wear shoes when she sings until all children have shoes.
