This song proves Angelina is Superstar material at 10 years old. No one would ever guess her age as 10. This song is a masterpiece. If recorded, it would have been Grammy material, and would have made the name Angelina Jordan a household name. She is a musical genius.

Young girl, for sure. Young voice, not even close. Angelina was 10 when she recorded this. Let that sink in for a minute. She has the greatest voice I have ever heard, and I believe the greatest voice of all time. No one conveys emotion like Angelina. She makes you feel the song as much as you hear it. Angelina is beyond compare.

@@davidb2371 Community consensus. Fans who have been following Angelina since her NGT days and moderate her fan sites agree she was 10 when this was recorded. If you are going to state something different you need to provide more to support that statement than "I think".

I don’t think Angelina mimics these emotions, I think she feels them, quite deeply. The music and lyrics convey the emotion to her and she feeds what she is feeling back to us. Knowing her, she has put her own unique interpretation on this song and that’s what we hear. The thing that gets me is that it really seems like she knows way more than she should, like she’s done all this before. People like her are rare and they inspire me to be a better person. I think they have that effect on lots of people. Anyway, this performance is outstanding. To my ear it is as good as anything she’s done and maybe her best work. She just pulls me in, carries me off and doesn’t let go until the song is over. She is special, there’s no arguing that.

Angelina's greatest gift is the ability to sing the emotions of a song. Any song. Even when she does covers, you realize that you might have heard the song a thousand times by other artists, but you've never really understood the song until Angelina does it. Another reviewer really said it perfectly. Angelina takes a little bit of her soul and chucks it at you.

I have been following her for a couple of years now and I think she is channeling Amy Winehouse! Every time I listen to her, I feel and see Amy’s energy oozing out from her! Amy’s life ended to soon, she wasn’t finished here on earth...Angelina is her own person but Amy is continuing her journey through her...in my opinion. Beautiful, just amazing!!

She's beyond amazing!

The last images of her playing in the mud, or whatever, was her at about 10 years old. This is the same person who sings this song with the aplomb and soul of a seasoned singer of 30. To repeat what someone once wrote when trying to sum up Angelina Jordan Astar in one sentence: "The strange case of Angelina Jordan". I simply don't understand how she does it. It's a total mystery to me.

Although this song was never supposed to be released it is by far my favorite of everything that Angelina has produced. I could see that she almost brought you to tears there at the finish. It's okay to go ahead and let it out. Angelina does that to most of us.

I'm astounded every time!

The main reason that she can sing the way she does at an early age is because she was raised on 1950 and 60's jazz female artist's. She mimics them and puts her own spin on it. Prodigy to the utmost.

There is no other young singer that is Angelina’s equal. Angelina is the most uniquely gifted and versatile singer in existence. She is a genius level talent.

Because of one line that implied drowning suicide, her mom placed the 'kibosh' on it being released to the public. Had she allowed it, this song would have been a #1 song. Her vocals in this are mind boggling.

This recording is always in my top 5 from Angelina. It is absolute genius! I now think that her 10th year (2016) is the real high point of her performances taken as a whole. She really seemed to perfect her ability to interpret songs during that year, Her renditions of "Feeling Good" that year, both at festivals and especially on Swedish TV, are also in my top 5. "Every Time We Say Goodbye" sung on the Oslo rooftop gives me chills every time I hear it. The commercial for LinkedIn ("Fly Me to the Moon") is as good as any performance ever of that song by anyone. I know she has done wonderful songs since, and I expect even greater stuff to come, but 2016 was really an extra special time in her career.

I am a huge Angelina fan, and I think this is absolutely one of her best. It’s impossible to pick a best song from Angelina because she covers so many styles and genres. But this one is a masterpiece by-wait-a ten year old. She is the best I’ve ever heard at expressing melancholy, even though she’s just a kid here. This is beautifully haunting and touches us because we can relive our own experiences when Angelina sings. A ten year old puts mature singers in her back pocket. I don’t know how it’s possible, but we just heard it.

I've grown to think it was wise for her team to not release a finished version of this song. It could have been her Ocean Eyes, and propelled her to a level of stardom that would have been just too much for a girl her age. I'm happy that her people seem to be more concerned with the person than the career.

You are so right with everything you’re saying. Angelina is one of a kind, born of music. I’ve heard she says she goes into a beautiful place when she sings and I feel so blessed that she takes us along for the ride and it is so amazing.

Casual Angelina has at least 125 more songs to BLOW YOUR MIND!!! Angelina is a once in a lifetime musical artist. I believe the emotion she evokes comes from her unconditional love for music, it is pure and innocent and straight from heaven. All other vocalists have to depend on life experiences. Angelina is in a class by herself.

Yes G&T, Angelina does not have the gift of singing like an angel, she IS the gift of the angels above.

Great reaction, man. And yeah... the knowledge of her age (10 freakin years old) and trying to reconcile it with that voice... that honest, raw and very real emotion... is almost too much. The brain scrambles. Can't compute. Yet also cannot be denied. The other mind scrambling facet of AJ, is she isn't just copying a song. She is making it hers. She is creating something absolutely new. That is almost more incredible than her amazing voice. She's an artist working her craft as a master would. At 10. Un-freakin-real.

She is channeling the writer’s original feelings is my guess. She just gets it.

The secret is REINCARNATION. You can't copy or mimic singing like this or the emotions, she feels it and may never know were it is coming from. There are times were she shows stank and soul when singing words. Long way down to the bottom of this rabbit hole.

She's been listening to jazz since she was conceived. Her mother lived with her grandmother while she was PG w/ AJ...& still does to this day. Her grandmother loved jazz & played jazz albums all the time. So yep, she was listening to it from the womb!! Her grandmother is also a well-regarded painter. She is normally the camera operator on these videos. Her uncle (her mother's brother) is her manager. It's also noteworthy that English is AJ's 3rd or 4th language & that she plays 3 instruments...piano, violin, & flute. Enjoyed reaction...thx!

Great reaction, so many of us are just transported by Angelina. I think the best, shortest explanation I've seen expressed is" She takes your heart, and replaces it with her soul!"

She's very good at transporting those emotions as it is. A few people are actually blaming her for that - not having experienced those feelings and beeing an imposter or something. With some wishes, one should be careful what you wish for. Those two songs that are actually based on her own painful hurt can be hard to bear. How will it feel when she'll be backing love songs with her own first broken heart?

She was 10 when she recorded this. Wait till you hear her I Who Have Nothing, at 6 years old. Not 100% perfect but super amazing for a 6 year old. Her 'Hello" at 9 is beautiful and she plays piano on this one, and also on Wicked Game (shore version )

Yes I loved that video Simply mind-blowing I agree with your reaction 100% I don't think this gift to us is a mirage at all. Thanks for another great reaction to Angelina, You will have noticed that this song has "Leaked" in the title. There is a great deal of controversy about it and because of the ending of the song which "could" suggest suicide, Angelina has said she will never sing it again. Someone more knowledgeable will be along to give you a fuller explanation. I think you are incorrect when you say that Angelina "mimics" the emotion. True, she doesn't have the life experiences to know the anguish in this song and for most 10-year-olds this lack would be insurmountable but Angelina is not like other girls of that age. In my opinion she fully understands the meaning of each word of a song and the position of those words in the lyrics would create an emotion which Angelina instinctively interprets correctly and her musicality is such that she can express those emotions through her voice. And, what is more wonderful and completely inexplicable is her ability to convey those emotions to her listener.
