Angelina can only re-record this song and release it if she herself acquires the rights to the song from Baby Fuzz! Furthermore, I don’t think Angelina has any interest in this song, just like she didn’t when she made the demo, because she has her own original songs, just like she did at the time when she was working on “Shield”, however, if I was Republic Records, I would acquire the rights to the Song from Baby Fuzz and ask Angelina to perform it, then release it under their label.

FYI...Angelina sang the "Hungarian Suicide Song" aka "Gloomy Sunday" at 7 years old for her NGT audition with her family in the audience.

The audio was recorded when she was 10, but the video was made two years later by a fan using available images and clips recorded over several years. When we see her singing on stage, it is a performance of her original song "Shield", performed on a Norwegian tv program in 2018, when she was 12. The last shot is from her "Fly Me to the Moon" video released in 2017.

Actually, Baby Fuzz didn't know she did a demo of this number until two years later when he thought no one was interested in it ,he decided to record it. A "fan" leaked this video out at the same time. The only reason Baby Fuzz didn't block this, is he wanted to hear what Angelina did with it. He thought she did it justice which is why it's still available for us on the internet. Because of all the back & forth controversy over this piece of music, the Angelina camp said she would never perform the piece again. To this date, no one knows who leaked it & no one has talked. Any demos done from the works of another artist becomes the property of the recording company that the original author of said music is affiliated with. Royalties have to be paid. By leaking this, her camp can never be accused of stealing a song. The smartest action on Angelina's camp was to walk away from this. No one needs this kind of hot potato to be a blight on anyone's career. And believe me the misinformation was rampant.

Many believe that Angelina at 10, when she recorded this demo, would have had a chart topping hit had her mom allowed her to release it and I agree. It is like nothing else she had ever done, vocally, and there's no way anyone wouldn't think she was a mature, adult female.

It’s been said by many that Angelina’s parents didn’t think the adult subject matter was appropriate for a ten year old to be singing.

A barefoot princess with a hypnotic voice. Angelina recorded this demo on January 3, 2017 which was 7 days before her 11th birthday! This great song was written by Baby FuzZ (Brandon Lowry also known as Sterling Fox) who later recorded his own version. We don't know why Angelina's family never pursued having that recording officially released but someone leaked it on a KZread video. Thankfully, everyone involved with that song is now ok with the leaked version. Many angels (fans) believe this is one of Angelina’s best performances.

Thank you for reacting to what many "Angels" consider Angelina's best ever performance. It "boggles" my mind that nearly 5 years after this was uploaded to KZread, those who should know better still feel the need to offer "reasons" why this was never released publicly, and ignoring requests to post verifiable links for the opinions they hold. Neither Angelina nor any family member has ever commented upon the matter, as is their right. So unless the person commenting post a link to the source of what they write, anything you read in the comments should be taken with the proverbial "pinch of salt".

Agree... If ever there was a problem with "age appropriateness" of a song, Angelina would just change the lyrics, as she did with "Back To Black" and "I Just Want To Make Love To You".

She performed and recorded the demo for Baby Fuzz at 10. Her mom objected to the inferred suicide. Baby Fuzz later released his original, though the copyright on Angelina's performance precedes his. Rumor is, Fuzz's team released Angelina's demo. The video is fan made, and includes images of Angelina, some of the pics were taken AFTER Angelina's recording.

When I first heard this one, I hadn't actually heard very many things from when she was 9, 10, ad 11, so I had a hard time believing that she was actually 10 when she sang it. Eventually, I heard everything that was out there from those ages. And then I believed it.. Now when I hear this one, I can definitely hear the hallmarks of "young Angelina" (i.e., 10 and younger) in her voice. (For the record, it is said that she was one week shy of her 11th birthday when she recorded it.) But there's another audio-only recording that's supposedly from when she was 10 that I still, to this day, have a _very_ hard time believing was dated correctly: kzread.info/dash/bejne/n5Vr1cOYnprRXZs.html This is her cover of Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive" (sounding very much like a first take, with her fumbling over some of the lyrics), posted to her Fanclub Mosarz channel with the year "2016" included in the video title. That would mean she was either 9 or 10. And while it's completely obvious (IMO) that she could not have been 9, the idea that she was 10 is also very hard to accept. I say this because I don't actually hear any hallmarks of "young Angelina" in this one; I hear "middle period Angelina" - specifically, ages 11 and 12. The difference between those ages might sound ridiculously small to someone not familiar with Angelina Jordan, but to those who are very familiar with her, they know what a vast difference that can represent. BTW, apart from the maturity of the sound of her voice, per se, on "I Will Survive", that cover is also notable for featuring a totally different singing style than you have heard from her up to this point. I highly recommend you react to it.

Angelina passes this of as "just a demo". Thank god someone kept a copy of this before it was taken down. Best song by a 10 year old ever. Nice to see you react to this one.

there are a lot of rumors. Actually, this is her song because she sang it first, but only as a demo. I think it's quite simple, the song would have gone through the roof, and for her 10 years on this song and how she is protected by her family, the hype that followed would have been too early, and as already mentioned, would have been It would have been difficult to release this song without a record deal and only others would have benefited from it. but that's just a guess on my part

I pretty much agree with you. We are quite certain the content of the song had nothing to do with the song not being released.

This song was written by Baby Fuzz in 2016 who sent it to many artists to record demos and 10 year old Angelina was one of them. None of these demos were released and as you know Angelina’s was “leaked”. Baby Fuzz recorded and released it 2 years later.

I hate to tell you that you are wrong, but you are wrong! Please recheck your facts, Baby Fuzz never sent the song to Angelina to record a demo, he was unaware that she had made the demo, by his account, right or wrong, and that’s not how demos work, a demo is usually made by one artist, usually the composer themselves, and that demo is distributed to artist to try to raise interest in those artist to pick up the rights to the song themselves!

Thank you both for your unending reactions and support for Angelina. I don't have high regards for the social media, and I have only one account on social media because of Angelina, and it is for YT. I always heed an advice regarding majority of comments, opinions, expressions on social media - "knowledge without wisdom."

Angelina has emphatically stated she will never sing this song. But she has lost friends and aquaintances to suicide. I think the suicidal ideation in the last verses was the problem then and now. One of the loved friends Angelina lost to suicide was the Norweigan artist Avicii. She sang a touching cover of his song WAKE ME UP after he died.

Hi! Please post a verifiable source where Angelina stated she will never sing this song again. Neither Angelina nor any family member has ever commented on this matter, so all the many "reasons" given are the opinions of those posting the comment.

Demos are not ever officially released, unless of course that the person who has the rights to the song releases the demo as the official release, as Baby Fuzz did with his demo of this song when he did not get any interest in anyone picking up the rights to the song! By the way, Baby Fuzz has the rights to the song, but even he doesn’t have the right to release the demo performed by another person without their consent!

I heard it was posted on one of her channels, like overnight or something, before she took it down and requested anyone who had a copy to do the same. Also heard she vowed to never sing it again. A recent comment, attributed to Angie, that "it was just a demo", suggests she's not inclined to revisit the issue.

@@keithserafy Yes, indeed. And about a week before Feeling Good, she had the Alan Walker home-coming show. And (according to Boris Palenovski), she also had a series of New Year concerts, held in Kolbotn, Norway, on January 6-8th 2017, with the local brass band. The FB livestream, which is also availalble named "Mini-Concert" by Kaleidoskope RMX, is from one of those (from the 8th).

This song has an odd history. It was written by a producer named Sterling Fox, under the pseudonym BabyFuzz. Angelina was tagged to record the first version of it as a demo, and this was the result. AJ's mom vetoed the release, reasoning unclear, and the rights were under dispute for a time. The audio was leaked later and this fan video was made. The disputes over IP are long since resolved regarding this recording, but I'm not sure Angelina could legally perform it or release a video now. Great reaction, though. Thanks, guys!
