As a Norwegian - this is an excellent strategy for 7 months a year - the other 5 months would cause a catastrophic heating bill/pneumonia. She lives in Los Angeles now - so that makes it safer as a rule of thumb ;-)

Incredible song, incredible voice, and at only 12 years old. Whitney was 29 when she sang this song. Angelina sounds as good or even better. She is so humble, putting her message near the end of the video and cute wave at the end. Truly an incredible person. The Best Is Yet To Come.

One criticism that had been leveled at Angelina was that she can't go high. So much for that criticism. I hope someday when she's older, that she will revisit this classic song. Angelina's mother said in an interview "Only Angelina chooses the songs she sings and in the end only sings as she imagines" 🤗

@@tph222 Please give us some more information, Tore. I have been trying to dig into this to be sure, because I know there was a slight delay from when it was recorded, and put out on her channel. That was partly due to some editing, because this song is not done in one take, as many think. It has been edited, we can see a couple of places (in the end) that her mouth is not matching her sound. And as far as I have knowledge of, it was recorded in January, just turning 13. If you have some other info, please let us know. It is most interesting.

I have lost count of how many US hardcore Whitney Houston fans i have said this to: "If they had let Angelina follow up Bohemian Rhapsody with I Have Nothing,she wouldve won the entire AGT Champions". Now granted,most of us thinks its best that Angelina didnt win,as she would be under contract with Simon,and he fabricates his artists. Angelina needs to be kept a creative,free soul. Thats when she is at her best. But she didnt end amongst the top 3 even,wich i found really strange looking at the other contestants/participants. They were good,but Angelina captivated everyone so hard during her performances,you could hear a pen drop. That alone speaks volume. She wouldve deserved to finish second or third at least,for "max exposure". Back to songs and theese types of shows,every Whitney Houston fan i talked with,agreed with me. AGT is American viewer based,and they are the ones who will have the most votes. You need to win them over,and i dont think one of Elton Johns "lesser known" hits wil cut it. I knew she did one helluva take on I Have Nothing,and that wouldve won the American viewers at home over. I also know that theese types of shows decide what songs you are gonna perform. Now granted,they give you a few options....but its still songs that they want you to do. You just pick the song you want to perform the most. So "you have the final vote/say,but you really dont" sort of. And the show is all about "showing progression". One of the most in sync dance groups (coming from Norway like Angelina,and won NGT like Angelina) Quickstyle aka Quick Crew,they thought they should bring something new and different to the stage in AGT,to prove how versatile they were. Howie gave them a shocking buzzer. Reason? All the other dance acts had done the same thing.......Quickstyle wanted to bring it if they went through. They also had theyr anniversary as a hiphop/dance act. But Howie sent them home without giving them a fair chance. Thats theese talent shows for you,one wrong move in the judges eyes and you are OUT,especially if you come from outside US and are attending a US hosted show. Slim chances you are gonna make it. And Norway is a tiny country on top of it all,so Angelinas and Quick Styles chances were slim all things considering. If you are interested in reacting to my boys in Quickstyle,just give me a hint. (They have done choreographs for BTS down in Korea amongst others) Danced together since they were 14,when theyr families finally started realizing that keeping theyr sons from dancing,wasnt the way to go. They had to fight theyr families to be able to dance. And theese guys have blown me away ever since. Maybe you saw them at World Of Dance in 2017? They impressed both J.Lo and Ne-Yo. Ne-Yo was stankfacing like a *bleep* haha. Quick Style is fast as *bleep*,and on point! But very versatile,they can slow it down and bring out theyr full register too. Theyr sideproject Strawhatz landed them buisness deals with Nike,Samsung and other brands. Strawhatz - Kimono will get you AMPED UP!

AJ is 13 years old at this point and what a job she does, I have to wonder whether or not Witney herself could have sang her own hit at 13 years. Great reaction.

Some people say that Angelina cannot sing high. I would suggest you react to her doing it’s a man’s world it’s amazing and see the high notes she gets in that. Angelena also sings I’m feeling good at the age of about 11 and wait for the high notes they are there. Another great reaction.

The changes required to do this song from start to finish, including being able to gain 5 octave level, just reinforces her ability to sing in the complete range of highs, mid level, and lows, always inflecting her unique soulful style so that it fits the song to perfection.

What and admirable, exciting, unbelievable, "explosive" , thank you G& T, spectacular and awesome tribute our fearless and confident ("I got this, indeed") Angelina is paying at a young age, and with such powerful vocal energy, and vibrational sweet voice too, to the best all time female singer in American music! She is masterfully going toe to toe with Whitney as a way of a respectful homage to her iconic idol I think that, in her understandable excitement, Angelina never made in a song so many meaningful gestural communication with her audience than in this one. Hi there..I thought I’d ask you something if you don’t mind..you seem really knowledgeable musically..I was with my nephew yesterday and his gf is a semi pro singer..I showed her Million Miles live version and her immediate response upon hearing was to suggest she was disappointed at the level of auto tune being used..I nodded and didn’t respond despite bristling at the comment! I thought it best not to disagree and so cause a family incident lol..do you know what auto tune is and was it used during this performance? Hope you don’t mind me asking? Take care...

@@kevingood4644 Did you ask her how she determined autotune was being used? I'm not a musical expert by any stretch, but I do know from reading that detecting autotune is difficult, and if used properly impossible to detect, even among audio engineers. I would suggest you play some of Angelina's performances from age 8 or 9 like "Summertime" or "What a Difference A Day Makes" or "Every Time We Say Goodbye," or just about anything not in a professional recording studio, and ask her point blank if she thinks Angelina needs, or is using autotune. It seems to be recognized that artists/labels use some sort of autotune, even if sparingly in spots, most, if not all the time. But, as I say, I'm no expert. Google a question about artists and autotune and decide for yourself based on answers. Lewis Capaldi, before a recent live performance in the UK said on stage, "all your favorite singers use autotune, including me, so let's go"

When you say that it seems that she hit with the notes I tell you an anecdote, the boy who was a judge in the Voice Norway became a good friend of the family and took Angelina in the car many times to school, according to he had to say that she stopped singing because he couldn't drive hahaha (the same effect you say when listening to it). I think that singing Angelina powerful next to it is like feeling a blow from a cannon in front

That judge from Norske Talenter (not The Voice), has a very interesting background story too. His name is Omer Bhatti, and he lived for several years together with Michael Jackson and his family, some of them at Neverland. They became close friends. He also was the first one officially saying that Angelina was an old soul, which has become one of the most used comments about her.

When I read the anecdote that I had to stop the car and tell Angie to stop singing because she couldn't drive, it made me laugh. I also heard a comment similar to a jet that said that driving should be prohibited on motorways when Angelina was playing on the radio hahahaha

Whitney was 29 years old when she recorded the original of this in a major recording studio, with all the bells and whistles of modern recording technology, and probably done in several takes. Angelina was 13, in a small recording studio or a room in her home, with only her, the microphone and the backing track.....and done in one take. Astounding!
