She’s was 12 year old. My favorite song i loved Angelina it the best and best forever🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

I don't think it is a stretch to say that this is one of the greatest reinterpretations of an average pop song. A 12 year old makes excellence look so ridiculously easy, it's hard to wrap your head around it. In my opinion, this song "Stay" is now rendered obsolete by any other singer. Single guitar, reading the lyrics, one take, live, go Angelina. You're unreal. Fan for 6 years and counting.

I agree - especially in her younger years when she behaved as a chameleon. Yet, I appreciate her finding the character in her own natural voice as she is growing up. My favourite vocalists, such as Annie Lennox, Bjørk, Prince, Leonard Choen, Eivør, Elvis, Ella Fitzgerald, Jussi Bjørling, Nick Cave (just to be a bit eclectic) - a common feature is that when they open their mouth we instantly know who they are. Instead of taking over the voice of others - they have the voices that kids try to emulate later. I may not have listened to Tracey Chapman since the early 90s, but I would instantly know the tone of her voice 3 decades later. It is more than being pitch-perfect - Bruce Springsteen and Dave Grohl make me happy - even at the end of a tour lasting a few years when they vocal cords are shattered. My point is that I really enjoy her developing her vocal sound and character these days. When she was younger she simulated (learnt from) the originals a lot (which is great - a young tennis player should learn from the styles of Federer, Nadal and Djoko, if you excuse the comparison) - but sooner or later, own style must be allowed to blossom. If not - one will end up as a backing vocalist (that are under-appreciated - since they are always perfect - while making sure the star is shining). The difficult thing she solved - also by "parroting" when younger - where and when to accent - how to delay and phrase in her very unique way. It is quite amazing.

This home production is a thousand times better than the million dollars production of Rihanna's Stay. Her soft, raspy voice, sprinkled with best of the class and unique vibrato gives this song a special feel that Rihanna's Stay fails to deliver. This song is about love and the pain it brings, and a little girl at 12 years successfully tells that story to her listeners. I have listened to a number of covers of this songs, done by talented singers. Those covers are great, but they are no where near Angelina's. By the way, this is my number one Angelina's vocal performance.

We do have to figure in the cost of the folding chairs they are sitting in, and the mic (reusable of course)!!!

All of us love many of her songs...but for me...this is the one. The simple yet incredibly beautiful performance is the finest I’ve ever heard. Regardless of her age...she sets you in the song and you fall in love then have it slowly and hauntingly torn away...the yearning, the pleading, oh my. You’re absolutely right in your placing her performance here at least ten fold over any other version of this song. It’s a thing if singular beauty.

She has the most amazing voice ever she is hypnotic pulls you in triggers you emotions truly one of a king. If you have not done born to die you must check this one out . It is my favorite song of hers

Since you asked,....Angelina's cover of Fly Me To The Moon. Don't ask me why, but, some notes/songs are just made to resonate and come alive - Angelina makes that song ring in my heart. Joy....

I have listened to enough of her songs to know that my favourite Angelina Jordan song is the next one I'm gonna hear. I have literally said this is my favourite song by her probably 100 times. She's the best. Now imagine what she's gonna be at, oh, 18 years old ? Then imagine what she's gonna be at, say, 20. Etc etc etc. We are watching the making of a global superstar and this train has left the station....next stop, the stars.

I've been listening for about 2 months everyday. Im a metal head and this is my go to. Angelina forever. She just never does it okay, it's always this effortless perfection and makes me feel something she has no business making me feel at her age. Girl of a thousand voices and one really old connected soul.

If you have an hour or two to spare I'll tell you my Angelina favorite(s). I just know this, Angelina is the only vocalist in my 78 years who can who make me “feel” their vocals in my soul, and just reach in and grab my heart, often bringing me to tears. Her voice IS the music, and that's why she is at her best with just a single acoustic accompanist like Ivan Mendez on guitar in this video. Thanks for the reaction, and looking forward to more Angelina.

I think she hardly knows the song, but you know that once she hears a song she knows instinctively what it is supposed to sound like and how she is going to interpret it. It's like she has a channel to the best version of any song, and she can pull it off. And her interpretations always sound "right", never anything extraneous or trying too hard to be original like even some very good artists sometimes do with covers.

I Love so many VALERIE is another AWESOME rendition. Fly Me To The Moon. All I Ask is just SO BEAUTIFUL. Wow these are Awesome renditions and many more.

Just 12 years old here. This is one of my favorites. As you said, her voice is perfect for this song. ...but that seems to apply to every song she sings. The way she is able to adapt her voice to fit every song so perfectly is astounding. I always liked the original of this song, but IMO this is Angelina's song now.

Hi G&T, thanks for the beautiful reaction with the barefoot princess, she is magic.. This that is one of the most emotional covers of Angelina. This is a very beautiful song, but the Angelina's version, without mixing, recorded at home, with the simple guitar of Ivan Mendez to accompany her with much discretion (as always), it's an incredible emotional interpretation, especially considering that it's a 12 year old girl who sings it with a sweet and scratched voice, absolutely unique and without particular vowels games. 😊 ❤️ 😊

I could every moment of it, how amazing!

When she sings. "I want you to stay" there is no way someone would leave. Words don't work. The listener just feels the song when Angelina sings. Favorite... haha! I might have a top ten (or 15) that I listen to every day, but there are 80-90, that are in the mix every week or less. This is a fave. Your enthusiasm and appreciation feed ours. We get it. Good one, brother.

This is ONE of my favorites. So I get you. But there are many and it’s her interpretations that get me. She makes me experience the lyrics. The warmth and texture to her gorgeous voice. Addictive and a pleasure to listen.

She makes all songs her own. Always! She is actually one of a kind, there will never be another one even close to interpretate songs like her. And the guitarist is perfect for her. She is reading the text from her IPad whilst singing.

Every one she does is my favorite

She is really great when she sings this one. I don´t understand why it´s not more popular among all her other covers than what it is. She and a guitar is a perfect combination.

This girl is out of this world. A Norwegian girl singing in english since at least 2014 (she won the NGT).

I find that most songs she sings sound like the song was written for her to sing. I rarely get the feeling that she is singing someone else's song. Great reaction.

Perfection, plain and simple.

I first saw her on America's Got Talent. Early this year...she had me at her first performance. And I I had to dive in to her rabbit hole...I have never heard such a voice in my 52 years of life....she has certainly become my favorite singer of all time.....period.

I say this is my favorite until I hear the next one I have been following Angelina for 7 years now and there is no such thing as her favorite songs she sings. There is only one person that I can think of that could put so much fellings and emotions into every word she sings is Janis Joplin. Not comparing the Two because borh are in a class of there own. I will always love her cover of Gloomy Sunday on Norway's Got Talent. I know that's really old now but for me, nothing beats it. I also like her cover of I Put a Spell on You but for me, nothing beats Gloomy Sunday

You stopped the song after the first line because you were blown away by the richness, depth, and soul in her voice. What’s fun to watch is that we know that she gets better and gives you more as this song goes on. It’s one more in a line of covers where she just kills it. It’s not just her uniquely beautiful voice-it’s her interpretation of the lyrics so genuinely and honestly. I’ve never heard any other singer that connects so personally with the listener, and that happens in just a few seconds.

Shivers and tears almost every time I hear her do ballads. Valerie Amy Wh cover can't stop smiling every time I watch it.

I heard someone else make the comment that “you know how we’re always looking for someone that can sing their soul out. Well that’s Angelina.” As far as my favorite song of hers, I can honestly say I have not heard anything that she’s done so far that I haven’t loved. Well, there were a couple of early recordings were the sound quality is not good. But she still sing your heart out.

Every time I pick a favorite the next song I hear from her takes its place and again with the next after that. Then I'll go back and listen to the prior ones before and the cycle repeats. I agree with your comment about a vocalist and one accompanist, but honestly with this little girl it doesn't matter, one guitar or a full orchestra, she shines through like a 50000 watt spotlight.

There are a lot of excellent artists out there, with perfect pitch and incredible ranges and so forth, but there is no one, and I mean no one, that can touch you, reach inside you like this person does. And she's been doing it since she was seven, perhaps before that. Her age and at given time is really beside the point, as incredible as it is that she can do this so young. But when she's 30 or 40, she'll still be at it, and even better as hard as THAT is to imagine.
