Andrew Neil blasts SNP: 'Humza the Brief' is 'finished'

“It's pretty existential for the first minister and it's pretty disastrous for the SNP.”
Things “couldn’t be worse” for the SNP after the government pulled out of its power-sharing deal with the Greens and first minister Humza Yousaf faces a vote of no confidence, Andrew Neil tells #TimesRadio.

Being "beyond the pale" is a bad thing FYI. It's meant to mean a bit mad and was a derogatory term that the English used to refer to the Irish who were outside an area of Ireland that the English controlled (that area was known as "the Pale", so if you were beyond the Pale you were outside the English "civilised" space and therefore presumed to be backwards). So Humza probably doesn't think he's beyond the pale, (even though, he probably is).

They've been out to our business to look at it and seen what we're trying to do and then agreed to match fund what we spend up to £55k which has thrown us a massive life line.

That is, there are less checks and balances-power is (generally) more raw, elemental and , perhaps, crude. The results of this can be seen in the DNA of such people as Hamza and London Mayor, Khan. They appear arrogant and just ‘not to care.’ This is not racism or reductionism but a feature of how they operate. In fact there is reverse racism-any fair criticism of them is often portrayed as ‘far right’-along with a blasé arrogance,
