I am An Indian and I use to compare Hindu and slavic culture. I visited many eastern European countries. There are so many similarities in the festival, war rituals, even old god's names. There are linguistic similarities with the Indian language Sanskrit. Still working on this. Love and respect from India 🇮🇳.

Yes. Veda means knowledge in old slavic my friend. Slavic people used to call themselves: Arjans. There were Arjans, Antes and Venedi- westmost. We are good people, we are welcoming and teach all we know for free. We invented the Wheel. Peace brother.

Yes my friend. However, western Euros would rather die than admit this. Kali means Wheel and/or Where in old Slavic, that's your goddess' name, wasn't it (isn't) ? Sutra means Tomorrow, still spoken in Serbo/Croatian. Voy means Warrior in old Slavic and Voyna is War. Vedic Arjans were Slavic tribes that came from across the mountains in the North and settled in India millania ago. They were escaping the harsh climate/disasters in their lands at the end of Ice Age. After the disasters disspated, they returned north. They thought your people all they knew, iincuding writing and the wheel. Not for gold or riches, but to help you out of kindness. Out of their religion, old Slavic Polytheism, which ordered them to treat strangers well and teach them all the knowldedge (Veda) the Slavs, or rather Venedi Arjans knew from their gods, for the good of all people of the Earth. I am proud of how your civilization has flourished since then, in your lands, congratutlations to you and your people.
As a born and raised American, it's heartbreaking to think of all the culture so much of us will never learn of. We never learn a lick of history from these places, but it's our duty as humans to know and appreciate each other's culture and traditions! This is why folk music is my favorite genre - no matter where it's from, it beats with the spirit of a people.

We must learn from within us. Explore what is natural and original and when you come there you will find out there is so much in common among all the world tribes. Follow your own culture, appreciate other and world will be in peace. No religion can give you what you seek. Free yourself and take your own path straight forward.

Есть такая сказка "Сампо" 1958 года по мотивам карело-финского эпоса "Калевала" , там используются мудрецами кантеле( по типу наших русских гуслей), которыми можно победить злых чародеев. Именно созвучна вашему кантри- завезённая ранними переселенцами из Европы. Кстати гусли запрещены в русских землях именно с приходом религий. Надеюсь Google переведёт верно моё послание)...

@@3RST I can read azbuka and understand russian quite well, I dont need to translate :) Trully there are many interesting details in those old fairytales and movies. The thing I notice when watching is the difference of behavior. People used to be more polite, lovely, with great manners, living in the present moment.

czechoslovakia should have never broken up, but hungary treated slovaks as slaves so we do best without them. Any slavic nation is ultimately dominated by the slavic core of Russia. Now Russia threatens our slavic ukrainian brothers and sisters, I cannot stand with their tyranny.

We are are always united especialy when some one is trying to change Our Ways (samé as all natives of the world of ancestoral awakeness to be your essence of creating spirit) more like we like to be all right and chiefs that makes us all Slovania leaders and not follower be proud of your heritage that family problémy everywhere -that why we are in each corner of the world and will fight to correct evils that Challenge our Rodina(family)
We need a series about ancient Slavs and their wars against the steppe nomads. Slavic history has so much potential for an epic of game of thrones levels.

Would love to see that. My maternal line/dna is a nice admixture of slavic and steppe populations. Without that interaction in history I would not be here. Sure the same for many.

@sane mind also famous slavic vampire Vlad Tepeš(sh) is from slavic mythology in Vlahia Transylvania ex Dacia in roman period and now latinized Romania (slavic name Romunija) and they are romanized or latinized aryan Sloveni/Venedi (or english ancient Slavs Veneti).

Nah, we don’t have that much from pre-national songs nowadays. However we do still have many old songs as paganist societies - at least in Poland - survived to the 15th century.

Greetings from Illinois. Great music. My father was a Serbian and spoke the language with all his friends. As a child we would go to Serbian picnics on Sundays. They would dance and feast on a roast lamb.

Naše budoucnost je Evropská unie, kam patří i všechny Slovanské země, se kterými se tak spojíme.
