I recently read a fascinating book on the Scythians, the ancient peoples of the Eurasian Steppe who were among the greatest warriors of all time. Of the many intoxicants they enjoyed (some of which were quite wild, like a drink made of fermented mare's milk...wow!), perhaps the most [in]famous was marijuana, which they'd burn during religious rituals so that everyone would enter an ecstatic state in which they would commune with the deities. Listening to this playlist, I feel like a young Scythian on the night before his first battle, high off my ass and imploring the gods for my victory and survival.

Fun Fact: the Vikings first discovered america when they were drunk but left because they couldnt find any alchohol or any of their typical foods.
Was listening to this the other day with my friend San Pedro while walking through the Australian bush to a hidden beach... the closest we we will get to Scandinavia down under. The trees arched over the way and created me shade. The road was straight. A kookaburra perched on a branch above watched me, and opened its beak when I walked past. The road continued. I walked along the river, and then the Viking spirit entered me. The lone traveller, wandering warrior. Finding his own way of peace in the world. Then I emerged from the forest and saw the sea, and stood on the rocks on the water and the sand.

@@bryanchu5379 Yes, Im 100% serious. Actually I found out about that toad you mention months after my esoteric experience with Odin, trying to find out if my vision had any base in reality. There was no way for me to know that toads had that effect. It is very complex since it implies that I had like a double espiritual experience at the same Time. First I called for Odin and he materialized beside my bed, I could FEEL His hands on my belly. Then he gave me that toad that calmed my pain, so I must have ingested it not in that espiritual state, but in a tangible espiritual REALM. I have no idea in what plane of existence I was in that short amount of time. My faith in Odin and the Norse gods in general is stronger than ever because of it. Anyways, I used the kinematic equation s=ut+1/2 at^2 u=20m/s v=0 g=9.8 t=20/9.8=196s a=20/196 So distance would be (20)(196)+0.5(20/196)(196^2) and I got 5880m

The picture used in this video is from the famous painting by Peter Nicolai Arbo - The Wild Hunt For Odin. Go check it out, it's an epic painting! You can see Thor with his hammer in the background joining the hunt. You can also see the ravens beneath suggesting Odin might be near. Odin has two ravens and they are called Hugin and Munin and they sit on Odin's shoulders and tell him all that they saw. Hugin represents 'memory' and Munin represents 'thought'. The ravens were seen as a part of Odin; he needed them to go out to explore the world and return to him to tell him what was going on.

Out of all these thematic playlists, this one most certainly has the most enticing title.
I am literally so fucking excited for this drop and idk who you are 💖 good work
Just went to the gym with the spotify playlist. Was pretty dang good. I hope I made the allfather proud.

We all make Lord Odin proud when we tap into our true roots no matter of location. Odin's halls are meant for all Vikingr.. the world is most likely dying, all faiths new and old are reclaiming their people, the gods are at war now. And you finding this playlist is no coincidence. Rise Drengr, the world needs us.

U gotta get out more
i love how meticulously curated your videos are, the songs actually go with the very niche vibes
This gives me the urge to go live in the norse fjords and as viking, leaving my current life without anyone knowing where I've gone. As a brit this makes me so enthusiastic about other, far cooler times than my current ancestry
I ate some spacecake and went to the library to study. I put on this playlist, and oh my god, I was in heaven! 😄 Thank you for your work, the music selection is incredibly well-curated!
Thank you for your collections, I finally found something to listen to while reading Berserk ! ( Dark academia genre thingy bangs hard for some chapters ) , also cant even search Berserk reading music without spoilers and stupid recommended spoiler vids by yt.

Man of culture
Some of my favorite songs are on here! I love the instrumentals, especially Helvegen, such a powerful song. Thanks "nobody"
Ngl that title had me rolling for a while lmao. Just imagining what that experience would have been like... Being around literal gods, whilst also tripping balls probably as a massive war or siege is going on outside.. Damn. Then imagining actually getting pulled into that fight, hopefully during the come down and absolutely going OFF on the enemies lol. Just perfectly executed fights. No chance, no competition.
Perfect playlist for skyrim gameplay as a berserk 👌
In the span of this video I grew a beard, braided it, build an identical working replica of a Viking longship, went to England and Ireland and pillaged some monasteries, went back and built a 6 metre tall shrine to Odin, plucked out my eye, sacrificed 20 goats and 20 people to the gods, and then I smoked the world's largest joint. Ahh... I love Scandinavia.
I’m high on mushrooms now. And if I wasn’t going through some of my own baggage this would be great

@@grubbi5926 yes and no. May have pin pointed some of problems, but it may have been abuse from when i was super young so…. The heavy dose from that night seems to have taken the lowest parts of my usual depression away which is great, theyre great for my general depression as well as deep thoughts. Would recommend and will do again asap :) with this soundtrack
