@Wassili oh yes, I noticed your "in comparison part". And there were ancient people discovered who were centunarians though like you mentioned most died very young compared to us. Luckily our people get medicated these days and live longer but our quality of life sucks. We live longer but in a different agony and pain than our ancestors experienced. Yay, lucky us right? Wrong! That's by design and it's to tax us (work us) longer... another words a slick and polished up form of modern day slavery. Why whip people when history shows people will eventually uprise. Instead give them the illusion of freedom and let them think they live in a paradise and they won't no any better and will be good sheep. I did mention a timbeline right? Sure if you go that far back you can choose to focus on those points you mentioned. However, your also choosing to ignore many problems with modern society and act as is this is a garden of eden lmao. We have billions more people than we ever had and with it much more corruption, more diseases, and more cases of depression and it is literally growing every day. Why is that? Because this system or matrix we created ISN'T in tune with who we are or our ancestors (I'm not talking about astrolupithicus, homo erectus, homo neanderthal, etc... we had to start some where, common sense right?.). We evolve and so does technology. We could've created a utopia that worked for all (people like Nikola Tesla was trying to bring the world to an equal playing field by bringing free energy to ALL people), however this system leads to consumerism and materialism. Me me me, mine, mine mine. Happiness doesn't come from things... which is why people are depressed. If you look at why people are flocking to Ayahuasca its because they feel EMPTY or unfulfilled. This is no paradise yet you and many others are under the illusion that it is more then likely do to that idiot box they call teLIEvision. Brother, I don't know what you choose to watch with that device but have you not seen the civil unrest and global uprising? Australia, France, UK, Canada, finally America and many other counties have hundreds of thousands of people raising their voices (millions combined)... and you think it's because we live in paradise? This system enslaves us and kills our indigenous brothers and sisters while extorting the planets resources, don't be naive. My God look at all the wars we've had over the years. Russia had the largest Holocaust nobody dares talk about killing close to 70 million people through starvation and extremely evil and unimaginable cruel sick ways. I won't even get into the truth about Germany. The central banks are designed for this. Turn off your TV and research on the internet before they make it illegal. Go back and read books that they haven't burned up with "the witches" yet or locked away in the Vatican. We are far from a paradise and people like you need to wake up fast so we as a collective can create something far better... you know... a real paradise that is total opposite of what I just described. We were evolving at some point but now have been devolving because of the illusion you speak of (we livein paradise compared to our ancestors). Just because we don't run from predator animals and sleep in huts anymore (which others still do and they are truly happier than "1st world" nations) doesn't mean we have it great lmao. Please wake up. I want a better world for all especially our children who are prey for elite pedophiles and you better believe child sacrifices. You are ignoring so many issues it's not even funny... it's actually sad. And I say that with love and respect in hopes that you join us against the war on humanity and consciousness. I won't continue this arguement with you and the back and forth... too much going on right now that requires our focus and energy. I'm not here to convince you. I'm here to tell the truth. You believe whatever it is you want to believe. Either you support good or your support evil, plain and simple. And btw you can support evil actively or passively... all your choice. Much love my brother, I wish you health and happiness.

The world is waking up … to the sounds of ancient worship . Be it Norse, Gallic, Pagan, Native American … these are the sounds of thousands of years of spiritual honesty. Not the deceit and lies and corruption of modern religion and fanaticism, this was pure , raw, and filled with love and appreciation of the world they inhabited. A love of the soil, the forest and streams, the differing seasonal weathers, and the animals they shared it with. What you’re hearing, what you’re feeling, is the sheer enormity of man’s affinity with nature…before we started to devastate it for money and greed. The answers to our future…lie in our past. Until we learn to respect each other and the Earth between our feet, we are cruising to our own annihilation. Thank you for this remarkable compilation.

Is Native Americans the American Indians? In Australia, we don't get taught much about America but know the first people on your country were the Native American Indians. That is correct, right? All the white Americans of today came from Europe, yes? It's like here in Australia, we were all convicts from the Uk and Ireland and (unfortunately) captured the Aboriginals and took their land away from them, then building houses and shops there instead.

I agree with most of what you have said except that not all modern religion is corrupt. There are those of us in both worlds so to speak that agree with the rest learning from our past is the path forward. Respecting nature and others is paramount to our survival. Even if others don't agree with you they are to be cherished as a brother. Plenty of short-sighted people out there but these ancient sounds have as much value today as they did years ago too. Munknörr work is fantastic I've been enjoying music by them and others like them for years.

@@justsaynotoboomers That’s also taste for you. Some people might not like these awesome sounds we are allowed to listen to. Sadly this is what keeps us from being one. Nevertheless as long as we respect the opinions of others the world is within our reach. There are always individuals who like to shine in a light lit by a path of vengeance and pain but there are also those among my fellow brothers and sisters here who appreciate this music. They way it’s made. Therefore we should rather try to appreciate our own taste and maybe show others what we like instead of trying to criticize them for something. Imagine a friend of yours doesn’t like Munknörr and criticize you for liking this kind of music. Humanity can shine by it’s colors it has as a union. If we just merge and become one color, what world would we live in? Definitely not a good one but it’s our task as humans to bring others closer to us and make them understand us. But asking for understanding without providing it is not only hypocritical but also just asking too much. Only by giving can you receive. I’m sorry for the lecture but I feel like you need to know that

I think music like this- deep, soulful, ancient sounds stirs something within everyone. Some sort of very human call. Reminds me of a heartbeat, all the music that makes me feel this way does. Throat singing and a hard steady beat…. Maybe it just reminds us of being in the womb, or the sounds of war, who knows. I wish I could find a study or something about it. Music like this is so ancient, it’s found in old cultures like Inuit tribes, Mongolia, etc. Places the vast majority of people (forever ago) originated from in some way.

Greetings from Finland, we still live in the forest here ... not too much has changed ;) One day i would like to learn more and more direct from someone whom still lives his tradition. I once had a native american GF in oregon, she did not know the tribe she was from - did not speak the languages either.... her mum did not teach her much. I still think fondly of her, but that bit always saddened me.... she looked the part, and she had a proper animal name which i shall not disclose but she could not teach me. she knew nothing of her heritage....

I’m no shaman but seek shamanic ways. As a Texan the phrase “Turkish Shaman” has never entered my mind. Thank you for sharing and making your existence now obvious to me. I at least imagine if not downright posses affinity for Siberian and Nordic shamanism, even above American though I respect them and healers of all stripes. I host ceremonies on my little plot of land for shamans as they find the calling. It is not a formal church yet, but the spirit of a healing center is certainly born here. I am going to remember my ignorance of Turkish shamanism as a lesson that we can always open our minds further. Blessings!

Shamanism and Tengrism are the beliefs of the Turks before Islam The homeland of the Turks is the Altai mountains and the Siberian region. I recommend you to research the Turkish runic alphabet. I was raised in a Christian household, and no amount of religious music and sermons there made me ‘feel’ for lack of a better term than the songs you produce and those like it. In that environment I felt shamed with every thought I had or choice I made, with this music I’m not even sure how to explain it, the closest thing to it is to say I feel freed-unshackled in a way. It’s beautiful, visceral. It’s weird I’m not sure why but it’s like an experience, I felt alive. I’ve always been enamored with pagan cultures perhaps that’s why I feel some sort of kindred feelings with this song. Even without a barrage of words it’s more potent than 99% of music these days.

I think we all have to remember where we come from and be more open minded, religion rules the world and is human made, for all of us to follow so that humanity can be guided, what i mean by this, we are all taught not to think for ourselves and to follow order. Music is powerful and be taken in so many ways. I think if we follow what our hearts and mind wills us too than youll live a better life as you are living for you and not following anyone but yourself.

This takes me back to the good old days before I was born, before Islam, Christianity, or Judaism, Buddhism or Hinduism, when religions were based on a worship of nature and ancestors. Something everyone could get behind. Respect and acknowledgement for those who came before us and created the world we live in now, and respect and love for the beauty and mysteriousness of the world itself. The only times I've ever felt remotely spiritual is when I've been alone in nature or learning things about my lineage, so I think there's something primal that still pulls at us to go back to the old ways.

I’m here for the lack of ads between and during songs. Jk I couldn’t believe the wonderful combinations and blending of heritages when I found it. I actually encountered HEILUNG first. They captivated me with their hypnotic ceremonial music. I refused to look into them because I just wanted to listen and have them be what I needed them to be. But as I did become familiar with them, they were already what I imagined. The algorithm served me some Munknörr and others and I enjoy much of it. But Munknörr has become my go to. Well our minds I think naturally go to a spiritual place because we associate this music with ancient times. But it's all in the brain. There is no actual past life or after life come to think of it. But I still love this music because it makes me think of a time when our ancestors were at an interesting period in history. Just remember it can be easy to romanticize life a thousand years ago because weve watched TV shows and movies about love, honour, quests and heroes but the reality was a difficult short life that was very hard.

I use this music in my soul-searching ritual baths. I dig deep, in the core of humanity there is music.

This is it... The greatest thing KZread has ever recommended! If there ever is a physical album, I'd buy it in a drum and raspy chant filled heartbeat!
