    I think Ricky cracks up so much due to a lot of the weird faces and mannerisms either himself or other actors he is in a scene with are doing. Big Keith is just slowly chewing like a cow whilst delivering lines in a flat monotone voice opposite him

    Thanks for Ricky's (Sorry, The Office) Bloopers. My favourite? The scene with Ricky and Martin. We see a take, then there's take 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 ... it's only THEN Ricky says "Cut"! Note: Always stick around to the end for Mandy's self- described "embarrassing stupid" stories. (They're not really. I would describe them as delightfully funny!)

    Hiya Mandy, 1:40 Mandy: “Was he laughing at his own joke?” I’ve no idea but I’d hedge my bets it was his own joke. Ben Stiller pretty much confirmed on Graham Norton that Ricky’s always laughing at his own jokes on set. And you believed actors had a massive payday if they died for the film? So sweet, and you convinced yourself it was a good idea 😀 for the family! I’ve been trying to rack my brains, thinking of a bonkers belief I had when I was little. My brother told me he used to think there were musicians behind the loudspeakers, and I have one that came to mind for me 😄 Are you familiar with the term “Twin Town" or maybe from America “Sister City” - Towns in completely different geographical and political localities will form a legal and social agreement with each other. In school some pupils went on exchanges with families from the twinned town, they stayed over there to live with another family for a while, then they reciprocated and invited the child from the other family to stay. It's an initiative that took off after the second world war, to integrate cultures. Many towns in the UK are twinned with towns from all over Europe, and elsewhere. My home town of Bridgend is twinned with Langenau in Germany, and there are signposts when entering Bridgend stating “Bridgend, twinned with Langenau”. Well, when I was little - I’ve no idea at what age, we were driving past one of these signs, and I asked my mam and dad “what is a twin town?”, well they answered something like “it’s another town just like this one, in another country, that we’re twinned with”. Well, that just blew my little mind! I took the word “twin” to mean twin in the biological sense, another town in the world, that looks just like this one?! My mind boggled at how big the world must be for an entire town to be like for like similar, same buildings, same road layouts, same parks, same fields, what about the people? Did they look the same too? Was there another car just like ours, driving past this signpost in the other town, at the same time? And how many towns were “similar" but not quite close enough to call a “twin”?! How big is this world??? That by mere chance, a roll of the dice, they found a town with the same blueprint as ours?! In my little mind, the world was unbounded, I hadn’t a clue how big the world was, compared to how big it needed to be for so many towns to have a biological “twin” 😆 I didn’t do any “fermi decomposition”, common sense back of the envelope calculations, to work out how f4ckin massive the world needed to be, to coincidentally generate “twin” towns in the biological sense. It was one of my earliest encounters with the idea of infinity, and how frickin’ large infinity is 🤣 and how daft it was to imagine an identical town somewhere else in the world, exactly the same 🫢 Thanks for the reaction Mandy 😊 I’m slowly catching up! Just COMPLETED! your entire “The Office” collection! 🥳 G

    My first sitcom was 1961 so 62 years ago when I was 7 years old and The Office,made 20 years ago ,is still one of the best that I have seen and introduced me to the Fourth Wall...

    Mandy, if you want a more distressing insight into what goes on behind the scenes of one of Ricky's shows, you must watch the features called "Taping Nigel" and "Taping Nigel 2: The gimpening". 😅

    Mandy how hot does it get where you are? The weather. Each summer. And then, how cold does winter get for you? Because, the American south said it was overly hot in the summer this year. I wondered how this year was different from every other year, especially since every other year has always been about just as hot anyway. Something about the heat hit different this year. They said it was the humidity. I had to look all that up. Climate change making everything worse. Meteorologists saying it's the temps getting warmer and warmer. We're going into December, and I'm still in shock about it, and I will never get to experience what the south experienced. (The extreme hot and the extreme cold are both bad, but I would prefer it warmer). If your climate is the same as the American south, you are getting what they got. "Humid subtropical," as that climate is officially categorized. If that's you in Argentina, after what the American south went through, I feel sorry for you. I get the opposite in winter. Polar vortex. For once I would like to have the south, without threat of polar vortex. "Under weaknesses, you put eczema." Mandy: Same. .. Me too. So, we have a common condition. Your "they died in the movie" story ...... (me at the same age) I would sometimes see a film where I would wind up thinking the star IS the character that they're playing. I mentioned Lean On Me before, and I said that about Morgan Freeman playing Joe Clark. Freeman played Clark so well that I actually thought he was Clark. That was my first time ever hearing of Freeman, and seeing Freeman act, and that's where I became a fan of his acting. He's a really good actor. His portrayal of Clark seemed realistic to me. The producers made a good choice choosing Freeman to play Clark.
