You can name it whatever you want, its for your own inventory tracking and book keeping. I would name it something that makes sense so you know what product it refers too: kzread.info/dash/bejne/i6qt0LOHl9Hclaw.html

Great Questions and answers! I have a question of my own. What is an optimal time to create a listing? For example if the lead + shipping time is, say, 1-2 month, is it better to create a listing closer to the end of that time or to create a listing now and let it sit in an inactive/out of stock situation. For a new seller, is there negative consequences for creating a listing too soon, such as on ranking and stuff, loss of buy box? or they simply have no ranking and no buy box at all so it does not matter for them? Second part of the question is if one creates a listing now but the product will be in FBA warehouse weeks later, then is it better to put your account in some sort of vacation setting. Does that prevent negative consequences associated with out of stock situation. Thanks.

Hey Crescent, Ron here. I'm trying to edit the color variations of my product, however every time I add the color images and hit save and finish, they just disappear when I check it. I know this is not instant and does require about 15 minutes to take effect but after hours, its still doesn't show the photos. The photo's are the right format and are professionally done. None of the child listings show the photos. Only the parent listing has photos but its only one color variation. Do I need to edit the parent listing ? or do I need to delete the entire listing and start over ? If I delete the listing, will I lose the barcodes and or Asin's ? The listing doesn't have to be active for you to edit the details. You can edit it anytime you want. I'm glad you're finding value in the content and sharing it with others to help them out, too. I hope they find they also find value in the content.

You can but again, I don't recommend it. You won't be able to offer Prime shipping and you have to deal with all the logistics of storing, fulfilling, packaging and shipping each order and customer support.

what if all my units for my first product arrive at the warehouse and i still need 1-3 days to make sure the listing is supremely optimized before i try to sell.. will i lose 1-3 days of the early rank grace period? or can i have the product completely inactive at the warehouse for 1-3 days AND THEN jump into the grace period with an optimized listing?

The grace period isn't a known fact. Plan ahead so your listing is ready to go.

Crescent Kao some stuff is repetitive but it's great because how I absorb info the FIRST time I hear it vs the 2nd or 3rd is very different. 1st time is more of (took notes of this) 2nd or 3rd time I actually LEARN IT 😜
