I’m from Chicago and like most people around the country I was rocked by the Boston Marathon bombing and remember seeing this and just tearing up. It was a perfect tribute and you all did a fantastic job. This, coming on the almost week anniversary of the Highland Park shooting here in Chicagoland. Just don’t understand why people continue to hurt each other.

Aerosmith was my first concert back in the 80s.. They were the best out of all the concerts I have ever been to. This definitely shows how much they have grown.

True but have you heard the Post Modern jukebox reimagined version of this song. It's pretty good because it doesn't try to compete with Tyler but still holds on to its essence.

I would like to believe that I've watched every video of Steven singing the song, but this one it's the most emotional one I've seen! Just awesome. In the archives a thousand years from now this song will still Rock! Just Legends!

@@linus5171 I've seen GNR 5 times. he sings different now but he can sound like his old self when he wants to. he does it during certain parts of songs and then seems like he cuts back. maybe because he's saving his voice or he doesn't have the stamina anymore. he would sing a song with all rasp then not use it for most of the next.

I wasn’t able to sing in this, but I was apart of this Choir! They never cease to amaze me, even to this day.

I watched a live version of this song from 43 years ago, which was the year I was born. Then watched another one from this year, and the guy sounds just as damn good as he did was he was real young. I can't believe he can still hit those notes at almost 70 yrs old. Steven Tyler, you have one of the best, and one of the most unique voices in the music industry! In my opinion, one of the best bands of all time!!

@@trudehurd9685 That is good to hear because Steven isn't known for being the easiest person to be around. Not so much a prima donna as much as he's just on another level of existence. Then again, given how he has always been loyal to Boston, I would imagine this hit him hard.

A career highlight for me, as I was with Steven when we got the call from ESPN, I pitched him the idea of just he and Joe, with the children's choir, and he simply said "that's it" - and the rest is history.

You know what is amazing? These men and these children🎉

This was such a powerful performance and the choir brings a new element to the vocals. Love.

This tribute desserve our deep RESPECT Thanx God for Aerosmith STILL alive today feb 22 2021 folk's !!!! God bless and protect you all

I remember hearing this song in 1976 and it's been my favorite song of theirs since. I named my youngest son after him in 1990. Still my #1 got to band.

That’s always my question. How could you leave a dislike on something that was like for a charity event, run, etc.? They have to be so small of a person to do that.

@Mad Season Umm he is screaming. It's part of vocals in rock music. He does with with tone but its a rock scream. Don't get mad at him for calling it a scream. Btw his nickname is literally the demon of screamin.

I saw the boys at an outdoor concert at Nickerson Field by my dorm at Boston University in 1970. This was just when they hit the big time--I get nostalgic every time I see them.
