"The 1989 World Tour" is simply the NAME OF THE TOUR, not the year it happened. It is very clearly stated in the description that this performance happened in 2015. @@mikejones5364 the fact that you say this proves you haven't heard a single Aerosmith album past Pump. Get a Grip had some bangers. Sure, songs like Cryin', Crazy, and Amazing were all ballads and singles off the album... but Amazing had an awesome guitar solo outro from Joe Perry. And songs like Eat the Rich and Living on the Edge were great rock songs. 9 Lives... where is the Ballad? Just Push Play included this Ballad, but the album as a whole was great. These guys rocked well into the 2000s and 2010s. They're not metal. They're not alternative... they're rock & roll.

At almost 76 and having watched and loved Steven Tyler and Aerosmith for decades now , this brought a huge smile and a warm hug to my heart. Taylor is an amazing shooting star. Tyler is bedrock. I’m so pleased she recognized his brilliance.

That has to be one of the best surprise guests Taylor has brought on stage! Steven Tyler is awesome, and no one even here in 2024 can cover that song and hit those high notes. This song will forever be Steven Tyler's! I'm so glad that I came across this video!

I just love the look of awe on Taylor’s face when these absolute legends are on stage with her. She is just as a big fan as the rest of us and her face says:”WTF I can’t believe this is happening” 20 yrs from now some youngster will be asking to be on the stage with them and will be having the same reaction… That is how much of legend she is going to be.

Fun fact: My wife and I were both at an Aerosmith concert in Wembley, London (1999) and within 100m of each other. I didn't get to meet her for another 4 years!

He upstages everyone Who Shares the stage with. Even my dear Jon Bon Jovi when he was young was upstaged by Tyler at Milton Heyes in 1989. Stiller that was cool collab listening to Joe and Richie together sounds so good. And Jon día well its Just Tyler that day did a backflip out of nothing.

They both were with her on the Nashville concerts but it wasn't on the same night. This with Steven Tyler was sept. 25 and the other guess she referenced was Alison Krauss she has previously on stage that night. Mick Jagger was on that same stage though, the next night, for he was her surprise guess september 26. it's still crazy she did that!

I love Taylor Swift, and when she sings others' songs she usually makes them even better. She's just that amazing. But I think this is the one time she couldn't own another artist's song. That is definitely Steven Tyler's song. His voice is just so unique. Just like Taylor's! :)

I totally agree. There are songs that are out of Taylor's range. Regardless, she's willing to have her guest sing their songs and take center stage. Seeing Stephen Tyler perform live for most will be a once in a lifetime event. Towards the end of Frank Sinatra's career my parents saw him perform at Nassau Coliseum on Long Island. His voice wasn't what it once was, but you'll always be able to say you saw Frank Sinatra. I'm not making a direct comparison other than saying enjoy the experience. Chris O, I'm not directing this at you. It's for those who think a voice is just another instrument, just tune it up a get out there.

This duet is so iconic!!! When I was younger I started listening to 80’s music and to Taylor’s first country album. I love this song it’s one of my favourites.

This was fun! I'm not familiar with most of Swift's music, and at 58 I'm surely not her target audience, but I love these guest performers. It's great to see such a variety of singers with different styles from her appear with her. And they really seem to be having a ball in these videos.

Mr. Steven Tyler’s vocals when he starts singing using Swifts microphone on minute 5:03 just tells me he is the master of master’s. Maybe I am exaggerating but I was under the impression that the microphones are set up to that specific artist preference and for him to get on some one else’s mic and hit those notes says it’s all. Specially at his age.

One of the greatest front men of all. I'd put him up there with Robert Plant as the two greatest. He still had so much energy and projection in his voice. Not easy after decades of fronting one of America's greatest Rock bands. Steven is an American Treasure.

My late partner said, when we first met, this song is our song... at least once a week, he would put this on to remind me how much he loved me... I had this played at his funeral when I placed my red rose on his coffin... and I sang to it from my heart. I still tear up when I hear it, but also makes me smile with my tears knowing he knows I still listen and I still miss him.... 💖
