John you have discovered Ben Hogan swing. I found the same combination of movements. It's absolutely amazing. You are unique. I am 69 years-old .From South Africa. You know what I experience. Had hole in one at 76m Gap wedge. Put ball 6" from hole with 8 iron all in one round

4:58 If you look closely at Hogan's right foot - the heel rotates ever so slightly toward the target just before the foot slides and turns over onto the toes. This is mentioned by Moe Norman as well as @sevam1. It's a small movement, but it's there for a reason.

True, but it is a vapor trail of other dynamic actions in the golf swing.

I'm teetering on the fence of joining your course, the only thing stopping me right now is I'm on a nice upward trajectory and want to see where it takes me, but as usual with anything golf, I know I'll give in and out comes the credit card!! see you soon!!

We are here for you when you are ready. I understand it is a big commitment, but most students take a year and a half to two years to complete the course, so if you break that down... it's actually around $16 a week.

@@lagpressure - break that down further and it's less that the cost of a cup of coffee each day! I know how your advertising works in the USA!! ha ha. In all seriousness, I'm super interested and am looking forward to it - especially when you look at the cost of a 3 day golf school these days.

I had the same concerns as you, I finally made the decision and joined. As I am only in the early stages I have taken the program and dedicated my swing to this, but I didn't want to hurt my current game. My game has certainly is better , swing more consistent, low point, swing plane. I am looking forward to really seeing more during the winter months I can really give it more time. All and all I am very happy so far with the program.

Does the dog wag the tail or does the tail wag the dog? Could it be that most foot action is the result or a combination of knees, legs, torso etc?

We teach where and how to engage the correct muscle groups in the legs, hips, abdominal, upper arms.. all of this along with intentions for weight distribution and transfer at various points in the swing.... all affect how the feet will respond...

Put yourself in Hogan's knock kneed stance and try to maintian it through a swing and you'll see where the action comes from. It is the realease of tension held between the legs
