There is no word to describe the raw talent of Home Free, polished by years of hard work. They need their own adjective. Homfredian.

All the percussion, harmonica, sound effects and still adding new stuff. His breath control is amazing! Oh and then a beautiful tenor voice to boot!

Adam plays trumpet as well! He majored in trumpet performance in college! He controls his breathing perfectly due to the years of training with the trumpet and years of practicing his vocal percussions! Thanks for reacting! I am such a big fan of Adam Rupp. He is in a league of his own in my opinion. He studied trumpet performance in college. I think his abilities on the trumpet help him in his beat boxing too. I find Adam to be the most fascinating of all the members of Home Free. From his amazing talent to his cool hobbies and everything in between. It's kinda fun to watch some of the Home Away From Home Home Free videos. You get to see a close up of each man's personality and life. Great reaction.

Hahaha so glad you liked this! Adam kills it. Yeah, we Home Fries feel why use instruments when you’ve got Adam!!! He’s amazing. He really adds everything to Home Free. And he can sing. He doesn’t do it often but he does sing. Such a good reaction!

Adam has never competed internationally, so not a world champion. He has won a few local sweepstakes over a decade ago.

I love the fact that you didn't pause it once....Thank you for that. Adam, as the group calls him , a Freak of Nature, and he certainly is that. He is the BEST vocal percussionist/beatboxer I've EVER heard and I've heard a lot of them. I am so glad you enjoyed listening to him. Love & Peace be with you.

That's just insane, isn't it?! He's like the whole drum section of the marching band all by himself, and then add in some other instruments too. lol He's fantastic! I thought I heard he's won several awards, which are totally deserved!

Adam Rupp was born with a seventh sense lol He is quite remarkable! This just proves how important what he contributes to the group is! Once you have reacted to enough of their music you will find out just how talented each of them is as they do have songs that put the spotlight on each one of them along with songs that use all of them together of course.

I love how much you are loving Home Free, I love them too. When I first started watching their videos, I wondered how all the percussion was vocal. I knew it was, but still. I watched this video a while ago and thought pretty much the same as you. Even now I don't get how he can.

they do a respectable job of basic beat boxing, but they're no Adam Rupp.

Fantastic reaction! You have a beautiful, infectious smile! As others have pointed out, this is an older clip, and Adam has only gotten better. Home Free stayed busy during quarantine putting out new videos and during that time, Adam taught himself a few new tricks. I forget in which song he debuted lip rolls but in their Sea Shanty medley, he does amazing castanets. Just when I think the man can't impress and astound me anymore...he does :-)

There is a newer video of Adam out there but thus is very good too. The next time you hear a Home Free song you will never question if the percussion is real. They have a live video out of Working 9 to 5 where ALL if the members show off their beat boxing skills.

i love adam, he's amazing. when he and his brother started the group they were like "we need a beatboxer" adam was like "done!". i have tickets for october and can't wait to see them live. home free is my favorite but you might want to check out layne from voiceplay, queen in 5 minutes is fantastic

At my first concert of theirs there was an older guy in front of me who just seemed bored for the concert. Then the Adam Rupp solo happened and it was like night and day he was cheering them on for the rest of the concert. This is probably my favorite part of their concerts

I’m going to recommend you check out the vocal artist Peter Hollens, and his cover of Misty Mountains featuring Tim Faust from Home Free, all sounds in video are done by just the 2 of them, no musical instruments used! It will amaze you!

THIS is "The freak of Nature " Adam Rupp. Believe it or not, he has a wonderful voice as well. You have now become a Home Fry with the nation baking each other. You know you want to hear them 😏!! Their hearts 💕 are in a massive love, hopeful, life and being with their home fries as much as possible. They make you realize that all the world needs is love sweet, love. Help from becoming, lost in this world,and feeling, like no one will ever help or show you anything. But I say, they are the ones who need help.

His beatboxing in "God Bless the USA" with Lee Greenwood and the Singing Sergeants is amazing as well -- especially the kettle drums toward the end followed by the sound of a flyover. But I think that's already been reacted to here, maybe? I follow too many reactors. I lose track.

I think his parents could not ground him from drums or sound effects, So good, thank you Adam for a fantastic God given talent you apparently have perfected!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

As the son of a drummer I really appreciate this. He does a few of my dad's favorite techniques in a few places. In their cover of 'American Pie' with Don Mclean (the original artist), I heard that he beat boxed the *entire song* without a break and nearly passed out.

He comes from the same planet as Kevin from Pentatonix. They eat drum kits for breakfast there.

Somewhere out there is a short video of Adam taking Tim for a ride in his car. Trouble is, Adam has neither license nor car, just a pair of chairs on the lawn! They back into mail boxes and run over trash cans, make corners over on two wheels and are generally a menace to society. When they "get back" Tim say he's never riding with Adam again because he's dangerous. It's all sound effects of course, the chairs never move.

When you do, read Adam's introduction in the video description. He arranged it, and the introduction gives you great insight into his arrangement choices. It's incredibly complex to the point where when he first brought it to the guys they didn't think they could actually do it. But just mind-blowingly gorgeous.
