I'm a 4th generation Polish descendant. I have a blue collar, I'm an American mutt, and I love everything from the Red, white, and blue to the cultures coming and mixing with others.
Nice to hear Tim singing higher vocals as well. I'm so amazed by his ability to sing bass and still sing songs and vocals like in this song. ❤️😊👌

Tim has a five octave range, and he sings beautifully in all five.

I'm an immigrant and a veteran of the United States Air Force. I immigrated from the United Kingdom in August 1973. I enlisted in November 1979 and served until November 1990. You guys stand for a lot of why I served. You exemplify what it is to be American. I makes me proud to have served to know that people like you exist. I thank you for your music. I thank you for your patriotism. But mostly, I thank you for being you.

He has an awesome gift, doesn't he? And he's just this guy, you know? He keeps his fans/audience interaction active and engaging with his quick quips which they love. That is a talent, too. But his singing voice is so great. He surely adds to the over-all talent of the group. That's part of the beauty of this group. I agree, I love it that several of these acapella groups are happy to be "just folks" despite their exceptional talent, and just enjoy sharing the music, very unpretentious (VoicePlay are like this too) I love these singers and their harmonies!

I think, for many, it's not disdain for the "country", but sadness for those who diminish/don't accept others' looks/dreams/differences. It would be boring if everyone looked exactly the same. These amazingly multi-talented boiiiz are grounded/decent artists, who welcome all people into their warm, loving fold. I loove 'em😊

@@annemayseyfried8907 well youtube's been having some issue especially over the last year, trolls, demonitizing over TOS that have gotten extremely arbitrary, so people that were online may have been removed, or, I know a lot around me that just refuse to use it anymore and have gone to locals etc. the other, hard to say, I just figure there could be lots we're missing, and since I figure most news can't be trusted anymore, I treat everything as it's true til I can debunk it with numbers, turned off notifications and went to Dr. Z's stuff. I believe it will help people get back to the center. :)

@@ellenhunt8767 No, a lot of people in the comments of Walking this Land were disappointed and were saying horrible things to Home Free and said they were unsubscribing and never listening to Home Free again. Some might have been culled by KZread, but a lot of them unsubscribed on their own.
How wonderful!!! Both my grandparents are 1st generation to America from Italy and worked very hard to make their dreams come true!! I really feel this I’m a personal way. My dads side came here in 1680 very poor, even into the 1900’s, but they loved God and Country and that’s where their happiness cam from. Thank you Home Free, for your patriotism it means so much to so many!!!

@Fisher Man Not all of us. Not trying to be rude. Have you done your DNA. I thought I had much more German in me. I knew my family is very proud Irish. Come to find out, I'm much more Irish than my Irish friends, born in Ireland. I knew all of my Great Grandparents were Irish. But one was part German. My DNA is 98.7% Irish! 🤯 So, more people are shocked when they have their DNA actually tested. My friend's parents are from Sweden. She looks very Swiss. Nope. But she's very Norse. 💕🙏🇺🇸

I have Great-Grandparents both born in Germany and immigrated seperately but met in New York City after they got here. Dirt poor, but their son, my Grandfather, was a district Manager for Publix in charge of over 25 stores when he retired in 1969, and was making $80,000 a year which in 1969 was A LOT of money.

Home Free is just as great as the original "Brooks and Dunn" band who sang this song in 2000.

This is also a side of Home Free. In addition to singing, they also have great personalities, no egos. They have a heart for humanity. That is why they regularly release covers that contain a message. That's why I love Home Free By the way, I'm just Dutch and I don't plan to come to America. My son is there regularly. But I don't have that love for America like Home Free. But when they sing about America, I understand why they do that.
Home Free made this song even better than Brooks & Dunn's version & I love their version.

Tim is fantastic in this! SUCH A RANGE........ALWAYS EXECUTED PERFECTLY!!!! And of course the rest are always spot on. As usual Adam Rupp is wonderful!
There is no revelation in this topic or video. Sincerely. Because this is who we all are, and always have been. What this is, appropriately, is a homage that we should all be proud of, because it is indeed the foundation of our country... only in America. This should be one of the top remembered patriotic songs of all time, but let's see if that happens. To me, I absolutely loved it. Original by Dire Strait, I listen to the original but this version by Home Free is way better than the original even the lead and the Bassline.
