I found him when I was 15 and he 19. Our church had a beach day outing, all kids were in organised games races etc, teenagers were generally messing around by the sea. I realised he was watching a fairly new family to be church mum dad toddler 3-3 and weeks old baby who was fussing non stop both parents looking exhausted but kid wants dad to run around the baby needs feeding and changing. Mum dropped the nappy on the sand put her head in her hands almost weeping. Despair and tiredness evident on both of their slumped shoulders. He caught me watching him and gestured me over. He walked away came back 5minutes later. I had changed the baby and was waiting for mum to give me her bottle. He grabbed the kid and ran to the water pretending to throw him in instead he literally threw him to his best friend/ cousin who along with about another 6 in our group had him running around screaming in delight. He 19years old then went to talk to parents handed dad something but dad seemed to be refusing to accept. I'm sitting nearest so I can see and hear their conversation. 19 years old had gone to the nearby premiere inn arranged for a room from then ( around 10.30 am - 5 pm she buses were returning to pick us up to take us back to a major city) The room was so parents could rest sleep just be child free for a few hours. He pointed out that the baby was fine and I knew what I was doing as I was corps go to first choice for babysitting and I had 4 younger siblings who is helped raise, the kid was going to be fine he was having the time of his life, we would take pictures of his activities during the day and if he needed or baby needed to sleep he and his cousin had come in his car as they were bringing lunches and teas as well as drinks and snacks the children could sleep in there. Then he added the final argument look man your wife is dead on her feet, the rooms paid for as is a three course meal. The father almost in tears himself told how neither of them had been able to more than a couple of hours sleep in last three days. He shook 19years old hands went to his wife took her baby bag and then baby child items from her handbag and handed them to me I checked no allergies or special care needed to know about and chased them both away. They came back about 4.30 pm total different couple. They literally slept from 22- 3.30 wife grabbed a long soak in the bath husband a full length shower. Went had the meal. I regularly babysat for them after that and rather than go back home by his I went in the car with the cousins . When he dropped me off he asked me out. We celebrate our 53rd anniversary this Valentine's day and. Yes he washed and still washed dishes, Hoover's floors and cooks. Wouldn't swap him for all the gold in the world of one more thing we are a faith known for our bands and songsters ( choirs) he sung for me then as he drove three of us home, he sung at our wedding reception when I married him three years earlier than planned due to a parents terminal diagnosis when I was 16 he still 19 and he sings for me regularly. Only two things I can't see him ever do is change the bedding, he just never gets sheets on right or go topless while wearing a pinny. I loved this I howled throughout it thanks boys for an amazing early anniversary gift. You lot truly cannot be best Love from Bonnie Scotland xx

I have one amazing man for a husband. We have an amazing love story. After many broken plans with friends we ended up at the same place with our families on the same night. I knew as soon as I he walked in that I would marry him. I never talked to anyone who I didn’t know very well or was a relative. Certainly never dance with anyone. I was very picky about who I dated. If he was disrespectful in any way I ditched him. We met when he was 18 and me 20. We met on a Friday. Afterwards my family went to get coffee at our favorite hole in the wall. By the time I said goodbye to my love my family had filled in my friends on the news of me meeting someone. All my friends could say was they couldn’t believe it because it was so unlike me. I just don’t do that. They were shocked. Then my brother in law told my friends I would end up marrying that boy. My Mama and I was very close so of course when I got home I told her. She said the same thing. She knew I would marry him. His father said the exact same thing when he met me on Sunday. Though his mother wasn’t happy about it. She didn’t like me until the day she died. We went out Saturday after meeting on Friday. Then he deployed with the military on Sunday. I went to the airport to see him off. That’s when I met his family. He told me he loved me. He was afraid he wouldn’t see me again even though I knew from the moment I saw him that he was the one. He gave me his Navy ring so he knew he’d have to see me too get it back. I wrote him every day. Massive long letters that made his mates jealous and got me numerous marriage proposals. LOL He came home on leave 12 months later. That’s when he proposed. He knew before then but wanted to ask me in person. I had already proposed to him! He was so nervous that I thought he was breaking up with me! LOL I went home and told my Mama. She asked what I told him. I said yes if course. I didn’t realize until then that she was holding her breath. She said good because if you said no and broke that good man’s heart I would have spanked you. As the baby of 7 children, I rarely got spanking when I was little. He did it properly for a Southern man and ask my father’s permission. That seems outdated but it was important to me. It’s the first time my daddy had ever came out to meet him. He knew he was going to take his baby away from him. My daddy was a recovering alcoholic so the only thing he wanted to know from my husband to be is if he was an alcoholic. Then my love immediately deployed again for 8 months. When he came home I had our wedding all planned. We got hitched and were together for 12 months before he deployed again. So many of his friends jokingly ( or some seriously) asked me to leave him and marry them. They ribbed him about me being too good to be real. We’ve been through hell and high water as the saying goes but we are still together, faithful and true after multiple deployments, 2 children (one who is special needs) and 38 years of marriage. I nursed him through many years of PTSD, multiple severe depressions and hospitalizations with both. Now I’m terminally ill and he is nursing me. I don’t know how long I have to live but I know I’m only here this long because of his excellent care. He never complains or makes me feel like a burden. I’m certainly not as beautiful as I once was but he tells me every day that I’m beautiful and he loves me. The great thing is he believes it. I still believe he’s the most handsome man I’ve ever seen and I believe it too. Okay, now I’m crying my eyes out! He’s such a blessing.

Hi, using my husband of 47years sign on. He said (way back when the kids went to school and I finally got a job) we should split the housework. Even now 70 yrs old , two replacement knees and a replacement hips, he does the vacuum because my arthritis in my hands and frozen shoulder means I can't. Teamwork makes a marriage work

I mean, every woman could need some romantic and help in life. And Tim's hip move - holy Molly. And it's really nice to watch and listen to them But - honestly - if I would do my chores in their tempo I would need 48 hours or more a day to finish it 🤣🤣🤣. It's definitely not a work song 😂 (and it doesn't help to get ready when watching in Tim's eyes or looking at Austin's smile, or closing my eyes to listen to them - huch - my laundry is waiting)

I cried, don't know why, it just got me. Then I watched it again and again, it was spectacular, they were all awesome. I think that's what got me, they were putting so much emotion into the song, whilst doing housework. They all looked fabulous as well, who wouldn't want the Fabulous Five doing their chores for them. I must admit Adam got my pulses going, and when he looked straight into the camera and clicked his battery into place, and did a sort half wink and clicks his tongue, I just went awwwww, I'm smitten. THIS!!!!!!!!!!!! My words trip and come out angry. This is what guys do to express our love. Ladies, take note. When he vacuums the floor he is saying "I love you" in what is possibly the only "words" he has available. We love you so much and have so few expressions available to us. Please grant us this small kindness.
