Abandoned Rail Stealth Camping
I headed down an abandoned #rail line for some stealth camping. I hoped to find a nice little spot along the tracks and fortune was on my side. Perhaps a bit too stealthy of a #camping spot as I would say there was about a 0% chance of anyone finding me. Perhaps not a nail-biting night, but any night outdoors is always good.

This is a very serendipitous stealth camping episode, in light of the passing of Gordon Lightfoot, who wrote and performed the Canadian Railroad Trilogy, one of his greatest hits. A stealth tribute to Gordon. 🥰 "So they looked to the future and what did they see? They saw iron road camping by a nice guy called Steve. Bringing good humor to a bunch of his fans Who can't wait to go camping across this great land."

Yeah that happened to me once while cooking too. I just had to turn it on and off to fully cooked my meal. Took time but worked. 😅
Former chef here, that pan wasn't hot enough in the spot where you put the chicken that the coating fell off of, and was too hot on the side that burnt the chicken. Just try to elevate the pan a bit next time so it can heat evenly :) (Side note, cook for a decade before I went to school to be a chef, not one anymore, but my chef's finals were of course cooking. I brought in my cast irons, everyone made fun of me. By the end of the competition professor chef said it was a good idea and the entire class was asking me where to get them. I had no clue, ours were handed down - who knows how old they are. Get a light weight cast iron skillet, you can more easily avoid this problem.)
Gotta say, since discovering Steve’s channels forever ago, it’s always a pleasure when he uploads. The soft tones of his videos regardless of it’s a stealther or something in a campground is always a great way to unwind with a step two. Love what you do, Steve. Don’t change a thing!

Yes! Been watching since 2020 and I often just listen at night or while working
Hey Steve, I actually watched this one out of order, after your next claustrophobic one, and this low key, calm, no chance of anyone finding you vibe was just what I needed to calm my anxiety over the next one! Shout out to Doug the Slug (little tease for the next video) which put me in mind of Doug and the Slugs, a Canadian band started in the late 70s in the neck of the woods where you have been camping out as of late (well close anyway, they started in Vancouver and I am guessing you are actually on the island). So shout out to Doug and the Slugs too!
so glad you're making videos on the island!! the spring sounds in your videos are so nostalgic
