A Minnesotan Urbex Icon: The United Crushers Mill - Urban Exploring Minnesota (S3-EIII)

In the season 3 finale, Isaiah and Grant finally tackle a staple of Minnesota urbex. Once a bustling hub of the flour and grain milling industry, ADM Delmar #4 (United Crushers) now sits decrepit and continues to fall apart day by day. This was an extremely exciting location for us and it offered possibly one of the best views of the Minneapolis skyline we have ever seen. We loved making season 3, and we figured this was the best location to finish on. Thanks for watching and for all your support! Season 4 is in the works so follow us on social media for updates!

I have to say that these Urban Exploration videos are really interesting. And then I had to ask myself why that's the case. There is something haunting about seeing abandoned structures in the "mighty" American Civilization, which is usually portrayed as a world of tree-lined suburbs, crowded freeways, glistening skyscrapers, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods and Starbucks. These mills were the physical manifestation of the companies that were the Microsofts and Apples of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. And yet now they sit in ruins. What places will urban explorers be documenting 100 years from now? Will Apple's glorious corporate campus sit rotting in Cupertino? Will Googleplex be an abandoned historical site? Nothing lasts. And today's iconic structures will one day also sit in ruins, replaced with newer ideas and symbols.

I once explored the former Courteen Seed Company in Milwaukee Wisconsin in 1999 or 2000 & it too had the charging holes above the silo's . I had to explain to my friend about looking ahead of his steps so he didn't fall down thru one of these open hole's. Thank You for posting your video.

I wonder, does a group called "action squad" no longer exist? They was one of my biggest inspirations for urban exploration, but it’s been years and the site has come to a standstill and nothing new has been heard of them. They explored this mill on their stories then.

They were one of our biggest inspirations as well. Chances are they've moved on now and don't explore anymore, but I'm sure there's a few former members that are still interested in the hobby and willing to chat over social media if you manage to find them. Thanks for watching!

Also they probably just stood on the top of the silo and used brush extensions to paint it you can tell because there is no over spray and the letters are square and there are all most no diagonal lines witch would be hard to paint with rollers because you can only go up and down. Also united crushers is a graffiti crew

Sellin you can’t get in through the solos anymore that’s all sealed up and it’s been for a while cause their taking a lot of good spots down. But the burnt tower/house behind the silos was accessible when I went which was a few months ago. There’s two cement blocks and a wood beam that Leads to a broke window. It’s a tight ass squeeze and dangerous cause there’s a rusty piece of metal sucking out but if you can get through that it’s stairs all the way up. But that was a few months ago they mighta boarded it up by now idrk. Good luck exploring tho❗️

how the heck did you get into the grain tower stairway? I was in there a few years ago but when I went out there in 2019 all the doors were welded tight, you used to be able to open some locks and get in before if the doors were not open already like the last time I was there . you should of checked out the Harris machine shop at the very east end of the road the name is clearly visible, I was in there and the Furniture mafia was storing thousands of dollars worth if stuff in there easily , that building was empty a year later, should not have left the door unlocked ,lol the video is still on my feed, LOL! another building at united crushers I was in was totally gone the last time I was there by all the abandoned trucks if they are still there, another building was damaged by fire and was locked up!
