    No matter how deep you explore, someone with a can of spray paint has always gone further, it seems. Haha. Fascinating stuff, y'all. it's interesting to see this whole other world underground.

    Video was cool! You guys went hella far into that and when the water was being released, my stomach started to twist... liked the fast forward, if I had to watch the whole trek to the end I don't know that I would have made it the ending... Overall though this was interesting and fun to watch! Great job!

    A+ on this ! Could you guys explain the implied danger of "drop shafts" and water release etc.? I don't understand any of that? Do you mean that those tunnels fill with water and you guys could have drowned???!!!

  • @theworldofyesterday4151

    @theworldofyesterday4151

    Drop shafts are vertical shafts that transfer water from a higher drainage system to a lower drainage system. Those pools of water you were seeing in the video were reservoirs that fill up from the constant flow of water coming from the dropshafts, and during major storms and floods (we were in here during a blizzard) ,that water fills up past the brim and raises the water level in the drain. This can be extremely dangerous. It's never a good idea to go in these places during storms and rain as the rushing water could push you out of the drain and pinning you down and drowning you. That's why the urbex community has the saying, "When it rains, no drains."

    Great video I'm a huge fan of your channel. Very high quality video and amazing editing. I hope to see a video on Tunnel Of Terror. It's a big place and it connects to the Davern Drain which has some really cool graffiti

    Earned my sub! I used to go there in 80s. Back when there was only rogue people down there. The “Fort Road” bridge that crosses the river, next to Fort Snelling used to have a cat walk tunnel underneath. I spent a lot of time there with friends. It was super freaky walking over the river at night. We would toss fire crackers over the water... We also got into the building (Barracks) nearest the airport fence on Upper Post Road. Somebody posted an exploration video of the same building. It may have been you guys. When we went, there was still power and some homeless guy was living in the basement. ... We would also drive our cars “rally style” on the roads behind the barracks in the winter. This was before 911 happened and they fenced off everything.

    We do not give exact locations, but we can say that most drains like this are usually located near rivers or large bodies of water.

    If you have freely moving air and clean water you dont need the masks. Save those for old places. In 41 years only time I coughed like a monster was after a phat bong rip.

    The air was getting hard to breathe because of all the road salt running off into the drain and it created a very powerful odor. Our masks were just to give us piece of mind even though they didn't do much.

    Yeah,a cloth surgeons mask is great too. The bigger ones are good for old moldy places and places with feces of any type. Get a headlamp also,the freedom of hands is the best

    Regardless of all of those things, we were curious where the drain led. Of course we expected it to end somewhere, but the whole point of urbex is the thrill of looking at something yourself and taking risks to get to places that a lot of people wouldn't think of going to. Thank you for the questions! We appreciate it!

  • @theworldofyesterday4151

    As for the graffiti, it's clear that many people frequent the location, but few decide to go all the way to the end and see where all the tunnels lead. Also the graffiti made the trip a lot more enjoyable as it was a very long tunnel and wouldn't be all that interesting on its own.
