    That’s not how sports work it’s a business because Caitlin lost back to back and the black team got no coverage for winning the championship. Also Aja won back to back championships and 2 time mvp so she can ball better than Caitlin. Caitlin is just a great 3 point shooter.

    It isn't "one" player alone that wins a championship, but "one player" added to the team can, and not everyone can be that player and be the one that tips scale from the team being just a contender to being a winner. CC has the potential to be one of those kinds of players. It's not just her skills o the court, it is the attention and fan support that comes with it. Even if the fans originally come to support her, they also are there supporting the team. That is going to encourage the other players on the team to play better, but it also encourages other skilled players in the league to want to play there as well, which can building a better team in the future much easier. When a player has so much fan support, it is multi dimensional.

  • @vanhattfield8292
    @vanhattfield829214 күн бұрын

    One thing CC ISN'T bringing, is the negativity that so many players in the WNBA radiate. So many of the WNBA players are trying to make her popularity out to be something bad, and trying to separate her in their conversations about the WNBA, which is nothing but ignorant. When someone like this is popular and has so many fans, any smoke thrown at them from any other player is going to result in that player being hated by those very same fans. Anyone that shows LOVE to CC right now, has a very good chance of becoming a fan favorite as well, and eventually receiving the benefits that come along with that. How these players can not see that amazes me. There is a lot more benefits to them that come with accepting her than there is with hating on her.

We're talking about the same Aja who claims corporate America won't give endorsement deals to black women... even though the Williams sisters are black and they have endorsement deals. AND not long after nike gave Caitlin Clark her deal, they gave Aja a deal, too? That same Aja? Also, I'm not sure what games you've been watching, but Caitlin seems to be playing well thus far. Yeah, she needs to cut back on her turnovers, but she scored 21 points in her first game and nearly flirted with a triple double in her second preseason game. Even by NBA standards, that's pretty good if you can get close to a triple double. Also, you're acting like it's a forgone conclusion she's a bust when we haven't even seen her play half season, at least. Do you actively want this young woman to fail? Are you so petty that just the mere mention of her success upsets you? I hate LeBron James and his fans, but do you think I lose sleep at night whenever he breaks a record or does something good? No, because my life doesn't revolve around him, and it's just a game at the end of the day. Maybe you should stop revolving your life around Caitlin Clark. She's bitter because nobody is going to see her, she's not putting asses in the seats like clark, all those accolades and no shoe deal? Because she's not getting the attention clark is. She has all those accomplishments, and yet takes time out to talk shit about a rookie who hasn't even played her first regular game of the season. Instead of acting like a champion she decides to talk like a sore loser about someone who hasn't said anything about anyone. That is one of the reasons we all like Clark. People like humbleness, players that do their talking on the court. Clark is also charismatic, and charming. She also brings all those qualities when she's on the court. Wilson is a petty, racist woman. Now any chance she had at getting newer fans, is out the door. I had never heard of wilson, and sheryl swopes, until lately, and that's not because of anything they did on the court like clark, its because their hatred for her being white. Clark has brought so much attention to the league, and anyone that says anything about her to the public will bring attention onto themselves, so what she should have done when asked about clark is either say something nice or nothing at all, because everyone is watching, and paying attention to the kind of person she is........which is a petty, racist, and hateful person. If any white player had said anything like this about a black person they would be cancelled, suspended, and they would also lose endorsements, and sponsors, and would not be able to come back to the league until they took classes and shit. I've never been a pc person but i say suspend her, and treat and hold her racist ass accountable. All of them. This young lady has gotten so much hate because she's good, and because she happens to be white. Complete bullshit.

She hasn't played a game in the league yet but people are already putting her on a pedestal. Despite her stats, she hasn't won the NCAAP, and South Carolina has been ignored to give her any more spotlight. And all the black journalists and influencers who want to make a good impression in the media are praising her even though we haven't seen her prove herself in the league yet; we'll do everything we can to make her ROY even if she didn't deserve it.

    There may be some truth to what A'ja is saying. Nevertheless, her comments are just plain dumb. Wallowing in anonymity is what the WNBA has been suffering under for decades. Lack of fan interest is why her pay is so low. Players don't get the respect they deserve because no one is watching their games. Caitlin Clark's rookie class (including Cardosa, Reese, Edwards, Brink, and other high profile collegiate stars) is the best thing that's happened to the WNBA in the last decade. A'ja should publicly embrace the wave of new talent, because the color of money isn't black or white, it's green.

    Caitlin Clark is GREAT, but WE ALL know that her whiteness plays a large part in why she gets so much publicity. I’ve watched her play and the only thing I’m impressed with is her shooting from long range. The fact that her team got invited to the white house after they loss the championship against LSU says A LOT. The fact that her team made front page papers after their loss against South Carolina in the championship says A LOT.

    Crying about white players being popular in white media, forget all the other black players who are dominate white media. Quit all that crying, are you that threatened by white people?

    Maybe if these Girls would have brought what Caitlin has brought to the team People would know them. They just hate because she is better then all of them. And wnba and Wilson and Nike know it

    It’s definitely about race. People don’t want to admit it. It’s crazy that Clark’s fan want to have her coach fired. Absolutely ridiculous and insane 😢
