Your an overboard fan, she is a scorer but not Michael Jordan type. She is a Steph with height, which is still great. Nobody wants to admit when she gets out played. It's okay to admit she is not perfect, but the the way that you fans live in your delusion about her is crazy to me, because nothing is ever her fault like she is a perfect player and everything is somebody else's fault. She makes mistakes like anybody else, just roll with them and support her but don't be delusional about it until she proves it. It's always about what your allowed to do when it comes to your coach and that's why others are not allowed to play like Caitlin and given as much rope cause she shot more then whole teams in college and remember they never won the championship and she was there for years. This is all to her fans not to her cause she is handling very well and not following her fans pretend narratives.

Just another big booty sista, with little skill, not making the game better, but more focused on her so called brand. Give Angel Reese 2 years before she becomes irrelevant. If Angel Reese was to quit the WNBA, people would be curious not upset. Catllyn quits, the league loses sponsors and television revenue. Just facts. Want the money and prestige that's goes along with it, be daring to go it alone. I don't recall Michael Jordan being tatted up, or wearing cornrows or dreads, while most of the league went that route. But it was Michael and his Straight pseudo conservative image, that put money in his opponents bank accounts, just by him being better than them. This hate towards Clark is on so many levels. I'm sorry, but being gay women who dress like men, is never going to be a image, any major sports league is going to promote. I'm not saying it's right, but that's the reality of the situation. Not telling the women how they should look, but that's a fact.

There is something that is happening here that plays a part in how the different athletes are being covered and praised. Pearl Moore & Lynette Woodard are GOATs of college basketball. Have scored more points than anyone Clark included and did it in less years. Clark had a Covid year that added time to her playing/scoring. Those women are overlooked and not praised and why is that. You can’t jump over people who did what you did better than you just because of the school you went to or division. You have to speak to the fact that Nike has only given shoe deals to white female athletes and not one black wnba athlete. You got it wrong because nike only just now gave Aja Wilson her shoe deal in the aftermath of the world being pissed off seeing Clark get a shoe deal before ever playing a wnba game. That’s not right and it’s not right on all levels to show the champion and best player on the wnba doesn’t have recognition for her sport but a college girl gets all of it before her. That’s not ok. Nike Fcked up and they know it. There is some truth to what they are saying people just don’t like the fact it’s being said.

Clark was popular not because she is white or pretty. She is just an average looking athletic girl. Now if she looked rough, had tattoos and was a lesbian, I bet she would be more accepted. The Clark hype was that she had 30 and 40 point games with long shot and end of game 3 pointers and broke all of those records, broke all those records, broke all those records. Had she not done that, nobody would know her. There are a ton of white girls college players that received no praise or hype for being white and pretty. She deserved the hype. Now they hate her and want her to fail. Clark may not have that college success in the WNBA, but why wish she fails and hate her with the WNBA going back to what it was or maybe even worse.

As a white person... It didnt hurt Caitlin by being white. Its not the reason she succeeded but it might explain some of the non-basketball fans support. For example. if she was a black girl would she be as popular? Probably not. because people EXPECT black greatness in basketball. They dont expect a white girl from the heartland to be the best player by a mile. She is like a novelty. Its kind of like how no one is impressed by a above average white QB... but every one LOVES a slightly above avg black QB. its the underdog appeal.
