Truth! Harvested puffball mushroom today have another coming up. Three yrs ago I released the mushroom spores around my property and I'm blessed with puffball abundance.

Hi Dina, San Diego east high desert. Yucca are blooming and the pedals just before they open and Bloom are so incredibly tasty. I also have lots of Manzanita bushes that are full of blooms and berries, when the berries dry they make a really nice sweet tart drink that is full of vitamin C.

The topic here reminds me of a Native American approach to our natural resources. I would much rather go to a dandelion festival than a macaroni & cheese festival, which is what our town had this past weekend. I didn't attend.
