A Crime That Shattered Ireland: The Harrowing Case Of Ashling Murphy

Ойын-сауық

In January 2022, news about the murder of a young teacher in Tullamore, Ireland, would start to ripple through the media. It was soon a case on everyones minds, both in Ireland and much further afield. Every case is horrific, but certain cases leave a lasting and profound impact in huge ways... in ways we have not experienced before. And in the words of the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, the case of 23 year old Ashling Murphy has “united the nation in solidarity and revulsion”.

So proud of Ashling for fighting so hard she sent this parasite to the hospital for help. And for the staff to report his wounds to the police as suspicious. Ashling and the hospital staff effectively cracked the case open. Bravo! One silver lining to an absolutely horrific and tragic day.

That’s because in Slovakia he would probably get a reduced sentence because of his Roma origins (they like to pull the race card wherever possible). As a community they are also what we would consider misogynistic, where women are illiterate and expected to marry at a very young age (14, etc) and take care of men in every way. He has no remorse because women don’t matter to him and are as disposable as single-use gloves. I think that to this day he has no idea why all the outcry over Ashling’s death had taken place. It’s sad but not sure that something like this won’t happen again. 😢😢😢 RIP lovely Ashling. You were absolutely beautiful inside and out and will be missed xxx

It's because of an alarming number of people like him that makes me want immigration to stop altogether. If this is how men from those countries treat women, I don't want any of them here in Canada. I'm an Indigenous Canadian and seeing the growing number of violent crimes in this country due to immigrants makes my blood boil. What rights do they have to commit crimes in a country that apparently welcomed them with open arms? If we emigrated to their countries only to commit crimes there, they'd execute us.

Twilight tours, residential schools with all those unmarked graves, attempted cultural and religious genocide, land theft etc are just some of the systemic ways First Nations people have been brutalized and oppressed in Canada and it's not immigrants responsible for it but the Canadian govt itself. Stop getting taken in by bigoted reactionary nonsense. Most immigrants are looking for a better life in a western country because their own land was devastated by a colonial power very much like the one they're moving to, the same power that oppresses Native people even now. There have been many dark days in Irish history where murders are committed that make the national headlines. This one strikes a major chord for me because this was not over a domestic incident, an argument gone wrong or gang-related. This was a purely innocent young woman who was simply enjoying her life the way she had planned it, without ever being in contact with anyone like her murderer. This was so, so tragic, especially since she never knew what was coming and never imagined that laneway would be the last experience she ever had. And this could have been prevented, if the man who was responsible was never allowed access to the country, because he had a past criminal record.

There's no proof that this bloodless massacre ever happened because nobody saw any blood at the scene. This includes the Brazillian Deliveroo Biker who was third to intervene and who wouldn't have been allowed to give Press interviews prior to Court if this was a real case. The Filipino nurse whom the Media claim gave CPPR to the five year old girl is yet another unnamed character in this alleged incident whom no one knows. Also, CPR isn't usually given to stabbing victims and the Brazillian stated that he'd seen the man stabbing this five year old girl several times in the chest. The three children, the attacker and two of those who intervened are foreigners and the Fillipino nurse and they apparently have no families, friends, neighbours, nobody knew any of them. This case reeks of Intelligence Agency engineering and there's other signs as well.

Because of them, Ashling's case was strong from the start, with an uncontaminated scene from which to gather evidence. They had a good description, and they had his bike. Thanks to Ashling's fighting spirit they had his DNA. And she hurt him badly enough that he needed medical attention, which was part of his downfall. All in all, women played a huge role in bringing him to justice. And I bet his family believed him, in part, because no way could a woman take him down. Must have been another guy.

Yes, we have the right not to be stolen from, deceived, violated, harrassed, assaulted, defrauded or even murdered but, thanks to this world we live in, we sadly have no right to expect everybody else to respect that right. They let a refugee in who raped a woman in England and got caught, then he didn’t two more times here, false imprisoned another woman and then tried a third time. Another guy murdered two gay men in my town because it was against his religion.
