These BBC audiobooks are just class
Six years before this production, Michael Gough played the role of Mr. Poole the charity worker in _A Christmas Carol,_ starring George C. Scott. I wonder how Christopher Lee well would have done if ever he narrated this classic holiday tale. After all, it's got ghosts in it. 😉

And Timothy Bateson reprises the role of Fezziwig which he portrayed in that same 1984 production.

Listening to this with a hangover on Boxing Day morning. Seems i met with some spirits yesterday too :))) Lovely version this, so thank you for posting IO
Enjoyed this on what is a very cold winters day 😊
I love Gough’s voice… well know. For his Hammer films, and Alfred in Tim Burtons Batman movies. Thank you for uploading

It’s official the toymaker has no Christmas spirit and I think Hartnell has been haunting him in heaven because of his good faith on earth quite the opposite to Scrooge Micheal Gough adored christmas but he was not a humbug never selfish and he was always so kind ❤😊

You can watch it on free movies. Not sure if that's what you meant 🌺
Douglas Hodge's performance in this was so well done. You can easily imagine his movement and personality as the character.
Thanks for posting. A great version of a wonderful story⭐️
This is really good, in my top two in radio versions. Thank you BBC.
I love the holiday because I adore my family and my friends and my brother Jesus Christ and it’s always been his birthday 😊❤

Edward Scissorhands was set at Christmas too.
Robert Edison played the Grail Knight in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
Michael had such a distinguish voice and to think the Batman sequel took place during the holidays.
Wasn't Peter Woodthorpe Gollum in the BBC Lord of the Rings and the Bashki animated version???

I didn't know the BBC had adapted Lord of the Rings. Now I've looked it up on KZread. Is this a reading of the book, or a dramatic adaptation? Is there more than one production of LotR from the BBC? Did they produce any TV, film, or video versions?
Цікаво!
These are so weird. Whose idea was this. Especially in the 90s when there was already film
Based on 14 years of independent research, I have concluded that "A Christmas Carol" was not originally written by Charles Dickens. Rather, he hurriedly commercialized a novella written by an obscure American couple named Mathew and Abby Whittier.

Nothing surprises me anymore. But in order to believe this one, I’m going to need a lot of hard evidence. Until that time Dickens wrote this story.
Could they not have the choral behind the narration? It's disturbing
