  I keep coming back to these series everynow and then, i love them so much. The voices and delivery fit the characters so well and helps me to have a complementary idea of how they sound when reading the novels, thank you so much for posting these.

  Clive Merrison is a decent actor . Unfortunately his sneering , supercilious Holmes ( complete with ludicrously mannered " posh " voice ) is a travesty .As for Michael Williams portrayal of Watson as combined doormat and village idiot...? Cringworthy . !

  This is my family's favorite Scrooge, my grandmother god rest her soul used to sing the songs over and over again (Thank you very much and I like life!) It stuck in our brains our whole life. Thank you for posting it ;<)

  Without a doubt, the best version of Scrooge there ever was, or ever will be. The depth of feeling expressed by Albert Finney is unmatched by any other version!

  I was 7 years old when this movie came out. I remember our babysitter took me and my sisters to see it at the theater. A childhood memory I'll never forget.

  This is my favorite movie of all time. The music, the acting, the message, the imagery. The characters are so full of life. I loved this as a child. Today, I can see this story is incredibly close to what we know as the "life review" of a "near death experience". I think that is why the story resonates with so many people and has been the enduring classic that it is.
