Long overdue. Truly amazing presence and influence she gives. Living legend. Definitely can tell the amount of hard work, challenges, patience, determination, grit she has overcome and put in, to get to where she is today, and beyond. Just imagined being mentored and taught by her! She brings that old school values of real passionate teaching, strict yet with love and empowering. Fame has always been one of my favorite musical show of all time, especially when I need some pick-me-up vibes, nothing like the song Fame!

She's such a wonderful woman and human being that has always inspired me even though I am not a dancer. I still remember the day I had the great honor of shaking her hand when she visited our College, many years ago, she is so kind and humble that she deserves all the accolades in the world.

Remember her on the Dark n Lovely commercials when she spun across the stage and when she played JJ’s drug addicted girlfriend in that cautionary tale episode of Good Times. The film and tv show Fame and so on and so on and so on… So well deserved!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽❤️❤️❤️💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽

I love Debbie Allen’s choreography and dancing but her speech bored me to tears it was dull long winded egomaniacal and political Debbie the best choreographer a big thumbs down as a public speaker
