There are SO MANY talented Americans who have contributed to the arts over their lifetimes and STILL aren't given the acknowledgement/honor they're due!! Kennedy Center Committee may have to change their process/rules....just like the Baseball HOF needs to

She is a product of the 80s. Let’s honor individuals like Dionne Warwick and Johnny Mathis. Doing it longer and with more impressive resumes going back to the 50s and 60s. Plenty of time for the 80s 90s and 00s to get honored.

@@crazypez8199 yes most deserving. I mean have you seen her resume she is a beast on and off set, In front and behind the camera. She is amazing and has many talents. Not saying that those people that you mentioned don’t deserve it either but I’m just saying Fame isn’t the only thing she has done. I mean she produced and directed 5 out of 6 seasons of A Different World I mean without her that show would have not been what it was. She came in S2 and switched everything around. She doesn’t get enough credit for all the things she’s done and continues to do.

It's sad to see how the honor was done. I know it was because of covid19. But they still deserved better. All these amazing artists. The mask hides there smile.

I am a younger sister could not care less what my dreaded siblings are doing , I have no reason to ask , nor do I care , and they better do the same for me . None or each other's business what any of us are doing or how they are doing . Wish them well but hope we never cross paths ever again . Same applies to the rest of the rotten family .
