    Hey Sam, you ever watch the videos when they were making these 64 impalas At the factory, Every one of them had bondo on those quarter panels. It's why they all have Bows in them, If you have Them to an 8th of an inch your doing great. My understanding is they didn't have the time to make them straight ,they put that bow in the middle of the quarter panel Work both directions In feathered everything to that point Took me for ever to get mine Straight !!!

    I have a question I see you got a new part on what is the name of part next to your rocker panel it holds a screw to the bottom of fender?

    It's called a fender lower cowl bracket. I could not find an aftermarket one for 64 Impala so I had to repair mine. I took them off and cut out the rusted sections and welded new piece of metal.

    @@ClassicCarOverhaul thanks my bracket is ok but the part that holes screw in in broken off both sides of my car 63 impala I found 1 for 62

    Yes, the hood fits okay.
