If you watch any sort of irl racing they use as much of the track as possible especially on a hot lap which you're attempting at doing here. You now have a good lap time tor you, now its just about being smooth, linking laps together and becoming consistent, e.g aiming for your lap times to be within 0.4 of eachother.

I am really stoked to see further development in your driving! Wishing you lots of fun on your journey. :) For me it sure was and still is! Colored Ideal Line Not a fan. You mentioned you're gonna turn it of and I fully support this decision. I really think one should not get reliant on the displayed racing line, since it wont be of use in real racing or even rain, when lines change dramatically. It will aid your ability to intuitively find alternate lines when needed. also it will just increase the need for feeling the track, corner, speed (which is hard when being robbed of some senses) but works after some time - atleast for me Understeer There were a couple moments/situations, where you just kept on adding steering angle when you were already understeering (car pushing the fronts). This does not help - when you realize turning the steering more doesnt turn the car more, release some steering angle and give it some brake, like 5% - it will shift the weight of the car towards the fronts, increasing grip and help you with rotation 1:45 just about what you added as brake pressure here - when "that ass swings out there" looks like proper rotation in general. it was just too much rotation for that particular situation which was why you bailed out of it rightly so. Turning in general is done with pedals as well as the steering, steering lets you dictate weight left to right, pedals let you dictate weight to fronts or backs. be smooth with it. mass is sluggish, in some cars more, in some less. What helped me - and still is helping me - is increasing my technical understanding of involved processes. it is easier for me to apply things, if I understand why I have to do so or why it works better than something else

I'm so working on this thank you so much for the comment. I did some laps without the racing kind and a wider fov so I can see more of the track and it felt like square one but ill figure it out I'm sure!

In turn 1 you tend to ondersteer and you keep turning the wheel 3:00. The moment you lose grip in the front you shoul use a little les steering angle. It is faster to use a little les angle but keep grip.

You're definitely improving 👍👌 The last corner that brings you onto the start/finish straight you can keep the throttle pinned Im currently in the mx5 as only bought iRacing the other day. But I've noticed if you need to downshift mid corner you can when the rev get to around 2500-3000 rpm. Any higher and the car spins

I noticed you tend to overcorrect a lot. Try moving your wheel less now. The less you have to turn the wheel the better. And if you find yourself needing to turn wide to reach the kerbs on exit that means that you can take more speed through the corner or be more aggressive on the throttle at the apex. Also, if i remember correctly i think the last downhill turn you can take flat out.

yeah I think I need to fix wheel settings because i think my degrees of turn are really low or something gonna check it out tomorrow.

@@JusSin69 Road Cars usually have 900° wheel rotation while formula cars have 320° at most. You can change the setting in general or individualy in every car
