Today I went to Simi Valley in California where they had the 50th anniversary cast reunion and festival for the Little House on the Prairie. Melissa Gilbert was on the panel. It was a question and answering interview. It was really incredible to see her after I’ve been watching her for over 45 years on television.

We all shed a tear when she cane out with the theme song playing. It was a time when we were young and innocent, with really no problem's. This show just took us away to a different time and place. This was one of the best entertaining show's for a young child. ❤❤❤❤❤

Seriously. LHOTP started when I was in first grade and ended when I was in high school. I had already read two or three of the books and I have a very clear memory of one of my friends telling me that Little House was going to be a tv show.

The Democratic party shipped Half-Pint and her goofy husband to MICHIGAN to establish residency, and run her popular name against actual Michigan politicians in a race for Congress. Half-Pint was forced to CANCEL her political run when it was revealed what a terrible jerk she is. Once Melissa Gilbert's massive tax debt was revealed, the party withdrew support for her. Half-Pint got kicked out, and was homeless when the donor wanted the house back and she was forced to sell her personal possessions in an estate sale. A SECOND estate sale, at another borrowed Michigan property was SHUT DOWN. The presumption was, the sale was halted by the I.R.S. Google that - it's all 100% true
Little House & The Waltons truly ARE generations' deep, irreplaceable, wholesome family shows.

She is living as authentic self now, leaving Hollywood behind, living in New York City and the Catskill mountains. She has mentioned this in her most recent books and interviews. The amount of pressure in Hollywood to conform is horrible, to look a certain way. She has stated that. I love her as a person. She's friends with Mindy Cohn, Natalie, from the Facts of Life. Both women share a similar view.💌

Melissa has never looked better. What an amazing woman!
The program dealt with many social issues prevalent of the times without being preachy. It was wholesome and begged the question "why can't we be like these characters every day?" I remember this program like it was yesterday.
So wonderful of you to take us to this celebration! I grew up watching Little House on Prairie. I appreciate you so much!

Interview with Johnathan Gilbert (Willie). First time he talked about LHOTP, or attended a reunion: kzread.info/dash/bejne/pWiClcidY9DQZNo.html
In my case, it brings back memories of watching it with my parents, before they got divorced. The theme song reminds me of innocent times.
I have ALWAYS LOVED LITTLE HOUSE and Melissa Gilbert!!! ❤️❤️❤️
She represents what was good in our childhoods. For some, it's all they had. That's special.
This was so wonderful. She is so genuine, honest and true. The best "Country Girl" I know.
My dad made me watch this show a few months ago and I love it so much I wish more kids my age watched it
THANK YOU so much for uploading this! I grew up watching LHOTP during the original run and still watch reruns.
it is emotional . its beautiful to see yall all together again and reason for Jonathon, because as far as ik this first time we seen him since Little House, bc he has his own life. So amazing to see him hear him after all these years. my family and I talked a lot wonder how Jonathon is. ofc we looked up seen what he's been doing, and he has a right to his own private life but we all love him too. what a wonderful surprise. love you all xxxxxx

Little House on the Prairie has been such a big part of my life and that of my family over the year. Having grown up in the arts myself I have had the pleasure of meeting or even working cast members over the year but I didn't realize how emotional it would be to see all the videos from the Cast Reunion. There will never be a show on tv that can come close to the amazing impact Little House has had on generation after generation. I'm only 2 years younger than Melissa and still watch Little House, have my McGuffy readers and the original books, and all my signed memorabilia over the year. Wishing the cast and fans an amazing celebration. So great Jonathan can make it, and was especially happy to see Ketty as I'm also a jazz pianist/vocalist and have always loved her "Love Letters" album. I of course can go on and on. HAPPY REUNION
I was part of this TV show watching with my mom every week (she passed away) and I have the complete all Seasons of the videos. I get emotional listening to this interview, getting back and recalling those moments (scenes) they were talking about. God bless you all..from PHILIPPINES here.
I just about cried through the whole video, thank you for posting, I had a great time watching.
Thank you G.I.V... Thank you for bringing me back to my childhood ❤❤❤
I remember being so mad about having to go to religion classes on Monday nights. I never got to watch Little House On The Prairie. But they were all new to me when they began reruns. Now, I've seen them over and over again ❤
Ty so much for attending and covering this special event! ❤️🇬🇧
Little House on the Prairie was my favorite childhood show, made me cry evokes so much emotion 🥲 but in a good way. Thank you GIV for sharing this with us. I really enjoyed this .. 😊
I watched this TV show programme when i was younger with my mum and younger sister and brother. I'm 42 and a half years old.

We love you Melissa Gilbert
Thank you for sharing I loved that show I watched it all the time you were lucky to see her in person.
Thanks so much for posting this! Hope to see more clips from the event.
I still see the little girl in the woman before us. I always felt like Laura (moreover Melissa) & I could be BFFs. She STILL seems so REAL & down to earth person. Would LOVE to see her on screen AGAIN! She’s Magnificent! So many lessons learned because of that show. Shaped me as a person. THANK YOU!!! ❤❤❤❤❤

This is awesome! Little House was my favorite show growing up. This younger generation missed out! The finale of the series is one of the best endings ever.
I am (at 44 years old) watching the show for the first time. Even just starting to watch I already love this show and feel like Melissa is just such a treasure!
I remember being 4 and 5 years old and my brother sitting at the end of the couch and me sitting on the floor leaning back on the end of the couch and the TV in front of us and we fought over who got the comfy pillow (of course my brother won he was older) and Little House was on. I spent so many evenings just like this and I wish could go back there 🥹
I loved that show. Nothing but good feelings when I think about it.
What a wonderful event and interview with Melissa Gilbert. I hope you were able to get more from this event. You always come up with such good content in your videos. Thank-you for getting this. I watched all the Little House on the Prarie series and read all the books.
Great job MICHAEL filming this. I was a big fan of MELISSA Gilbert at the time she was dating Rob Lowe, but she made my heart flutter. I will tell you that.❤

My wonderful son bought me the complete series, I’m 62 now. How I longed for Charles Ingalls to be my father as my father was an angry, abusive alcoholic. Whenever I feel sad or lonely I put on LHOTP and Doesn’t matter what episode it is, I feel better. Sometimes I watch 3-5 in a row. I will watch this and my son playing soccer on my death bed. Thank you
I’ve always loved Little House
Please post more if you have more! You’re so blessed to have been able to go. Thank you for this! Love your channel!💛
She’s so down to earth. Which is awesome. Named my middle daughter Laura Elizabeth and she was born on a Monday, which was the day LHOTP was on. I watched from the hospital maternity ward that night holding my baby girl. Lol! I meant her husband in the 90’s at an event before they were a couple. He’s so nice. Timothy Busfield! I meant Michael Landon when I was a kid when he was in Bonanza during a March of dimes celebration! Also very nice. I was just a kid. Lol! Great interview! Love it! ❤️👍
She is a comfort! Thank goodness for this show, growing up was fun!
Thank You GIV!! That was Awesome 🎉 i loved this show.

Wow. What a great job & beautifully said! He asked you great questions & you answered fast & explained them to us very nicely with good words & memories of things you did back in the show when you were a small kid & all the fun you did with everyone in ur family on the show & your friends too!! God bless you always!! I own the complete set of Little House On The Prairie books when I was a kid & still like & enjoy reading them in today’s world as a young adult & among many other titles of books as well.
