Ollie getting dropped twice by pro and ex pro cyclists, while funny for the viewers, is expected. Well done to Ollie for being the best sport, and participating despite the expected drop and following jokes, for the good of the channel. The more I think about these videos, the more respect I have for Ollie. As others point out, he alone among the presenters is not a former pro and is in over his head. He knows this and stood up anyway. Even taking all the grief he got on the 4v1 video, he stood up again. While I've given him grief over the years, he does have my respect for participating knowing he was in for another ration of grief. Congrats Ollie!

That was the best and funniest moment of this video. I enjoyed all the videos and they all did a very good job. However I was expecting Simon to do his best time ever but he did well. Thank you GCN, you all make me enjoy cycling more and more

But I wonder how Jasper Verkuijl would perform here. His FTP is around 380 Watts and his max sprint is around 1800 Watts. Neither he was a prop before, but he is stronger than Ollie according to a previous GCN video where his FTP has been estimated to be 310 Watts and Ollie is not a sprinter.

@@matheusrsantos Anyways I think it would be interesting to see if we would send a couple of pros and amateurs to specialists to find out where each individual's theorical fitness limit is. Ollie is usually referring to his lack of genes and talent. What could be the difference between pros and most amateurs? Some pros can have an FTP of 450 Watts, compared to this where could an average person's theorical limit be?

Ollie’s Numbers are pretty good! Most people here would be demolished by him... this serves well to understand the diference for the pros and ex-pros! They are absolute beasts

My favorite was Ollie representing us plebs! The fact that he's a lot faster than me just puts into perspective how crazy the performance we see from the pros is.... And from the Siborg 😲

Ollie didn't get dropped, if you watch the unreleased video, you will see Ollie take a massive 3 minute pull and then drop off! since only 4 rider is need for the timing, that was the plan!

This and the First Epic Ride video are so much fun! GCN is in a groove- presenters are doing an amazing job in their roles. Manon as the DS was genius.

The Ollie/Manon car bit = pure gold.

Manon putting the window up on Ollie was priceless! Well done GCN, great stuff all round. Thanks 🙏

When I saw this video in my feed I clicked on it immediately. And I was NOT disappointed! Fantastic series! Can't wait for more. There are so many great ideas already posted, already. Like Ollie on a TT bike and Si on a road bike. Can't wait to see what the GCN team cooks up next.

Bringing in a Pro-rider and non-GCN employee was the equivalent of a Sunday football league team fielding a non-registered player, ie a ringer, and therefore against the rules and unethical. I would guess that the Pro would beat Si on his own riding a cheap bike! Additionally, surely 5 riders didn't beat Si; it was 4 or the time should have been when the last member of the team, ie Ollie, finished? Therefore, should be a team of GCN employeses and all riders to finish the course.

The difference is manyfold. He is younger, better trained, better dieted, and probably better genetics too. Pretty big handicap to overcome unless you are a serious amateur who basically lives for it like the pros do.

Okay now Si needs to do a 10 week TT training program and get redemption.

It's a fair point. We all go through cycles of up and down fitness. It seems that they caught Si on a down part of his fitness while the others were on an up swing.

Loved seeing a pro come into this, Rory elevated this group hugely. Great respect shown from the presenters at the end which is brilliant to see. More of this please, such a fun video to watch. Well done all involved and Manon - she's a queen of cold blooded people.

Si, Manon, Hank and Connor did a 150 km ride the previous day. They even mention it briefly at the beginning, but the video from that ride was released a day *after* this one.

I think one of the most impressive things from this video is finding out that Manon drives a performance blue Hyundai i30 N!

I have been watching GCN videos since Si wore that famous pink shirt. What a versatile rider is he. I have seen him ride mountain bikes, long rides carrying his own camping gear, tt bikes, commuter bikes, ridding in only underpants in the city. He just doesn’t it all. Good job Si 👏 👏👏

Fantastic effort all the way around!!! Kinda not so fair as “The Lads” had to resort to a current PRO. One of the BEST GCN videos ever!

the part where they were saying the pro got 30mph into a headwind was an amazing way to detail the vast difference between a pro and the majority. I know I would likely be dropped by Ollie, the uninitiated think I am quick and Ollie was so far down in this company. I like things like this, it helps me remember I am nothing special and appreciate those who are.
