Jazz cheese I can help. Basketball shoes are important they provide ankle support, heel lockdown, cushion, breath ability, good court traction, and many more benefits. A runner is fine I guess for very very light basketball playing but if your serious you should invest in a pair of basketball shoes. Runners don’t have the same traction needed for cuts and explosiveness. They also have little to no ankle support and no heel lockdown and most don’t have any up cushion. It’s not safe to hoop in a runner trust me.
