Perfect. I used to have knee pain from playing black top basketball but did some good stretching to get rid of it. Learning about prevention is even more helpful.

    1. Massage and sleeping too when your body wakes up naturally (preferably not to an alarm). Then pre-game prep to ensure your body is ready for the game. 2. Get a lot of water and electrolytes. I like to add at least half water to Gatorade, there is too much sugar and watering it down still tastes good and gives you the electrolytes you need. Fish, chicken or beef with a good amount of green vegetables. No fast food or low-quality foods. - Joe @ TeamEGT

Hello, question referring to knee problems, landing softly will completely reduce knee pain? And is it just straight forward when you mean that we need to practice landing, because i have problem of landing stiff legged

  • @DeepGameBasketball

Landing softly is a component to helping alleviate knee pain. Properly strengthening the knee and the surrounding areas would be another component. Practicing landing soft is pretty straight forward.

I have a question about decelerating and generally moving around the court. When running full speed and then trying to stop on a dime, should your try to stop your momentum by executing a heel to toe foot strike or a mid foot strike? And when overall moving around the court , should your feet be executing a heel to toe strike, or a mid foot strike? Any drills to train a mid foot strike?

the video has really great tips so it's worth working through it, but yeah unnecessary music in instructional videos has been a very strong and unfortunate trend in youtube and probably everyone feels they need to do it now, but hopefully it'll trend out. "you not rhyming or anything" sums it up well haha
