    I remember a year back or so when Juji met Brian at an Expo and couldnt even talk because he was so excited. Flash forward and here they are training together at Gymfort :) Also, Juji standing on the pan when Brian tried to bend it looked like the weirdest dad-son-playtime I ve ever seen xD

    @@given0077 Brian Shaw is 39 and that’s considered way past your prime in Strongman. Some of the new guys are 23 to 30 years old and the compete pretty good. Even Robert Oberst at 36 years old and Eddie at 33 are still good to give it one last competition or 2 if they really want to. Brian could but he will definitely won’t perform as he used too 5 years ago.

    Cast iron is brittle. It will snap before it bends unless you plan on bending it while it's nearly white hot, but at that point it's just melting

    This is why I like your channel, everyone is always so chilled!     Just found your channel-I can’t really explain my fascination but I’m loving it. I did however spend a good bit of this video yelling at the screen about the material properties of cast iron though. Cast iron is really brittle and is a lot more likely to break than it is to bend.

    These guys really are the epitome of Gentle Giants. A lot of these Strong Man competitors that I've seen on yt are always super chill, really all round nice guys. The other guy that appeared before on this channel, John something i think, Brian Shaw, Robert Oberst that I've seen on other channels, Hafthór Björnsson (AKA The Mountain). All super cool guys. I guess when you're that big and strong, you really don't need to be a dick to anyone... :D

    Lol just because a guy is small does not mean they need to be a dick. Thats why fighters and strongmen are the nicest ppl u will meet cuz they have no chip on there shoulder..Brians huge so no one wants to fight him or challenge him...theyd rather fight a smaller pro fighter thinking they wuild win...but the fighters have no ego either cuz they know what they can do with daily grinding in gym against monsters.

    I use the little cast skillet to make single hamburgers, eggs, or sausage patties when we go camping or backpacking. Gotta love the flavor cast iron brings to the table!

    Juji, in our country (Slovenia) we have an old test of grip/finger strenght. If you can crush two walnuts by squeezing them againts each other with one hand you're strong. But if you can crush ONE walnut with one hand/fingers, you're *VERY* strong. Try it maybe :)

    this just proves that there are so many random/weird "world records" that are only world records because stronger people just didnt care enough to try. Brian shaw also accidentally beat the rowing/erg world record for sprinting. He can probably beat dozens if not 100s of strength based WR's, he just doesn't care about them.

    sorry, you are wrong on that one lol. i rowed for 4 years and 2k was towards the bottom of our workouts. the 2k just lets you know how you are progressing physically, kind of like how a runner would want a faster 1 mile run. and coincidentally, a 2k erg is around the same time as a mile run.
