Yes, you can strength train at home WITHOUT any weights. We want to use our own body as resistance. This is a 45-Minute Total Body Strength Training Workout. We'll be working on your lower body, upper body and abs!
There will be a total of 4 sets. The aim is to complete 20 reps for each exercise in the 1st set, 15 reps in the 2nd set, 10 reps in the 3rd set and only 5 reps in the final set.
Exercises:
1) Lateral Squat Walk
2) Lunge to Curtsy
3) Narrow to Wide Push-ups
4) Superman Squeeze to Plank
5) Single Leg Lunge
6) Heel Touch Glute Bridge
7) Dolphin Push-up
8) Plank Up-Down
Estimated Calories Burned: 300 - 400Cals

    So I've been working out and making better choices with food for about 10 days and I feel so so good. I already see a big difference but I promised myself I wouldn't put too much pressure on myself this time, so I gave into my cravings tonight. I'm trying to not feel guilty and sort of just trying to tell myself "hey.. your doing good. You deserve a treat tonight". You guys feel me?

    Dont follow this toxic mindset though. You're not a dog that your body "deserves" a treat, no food is bad. Some foods are just higher in calories and lower in nutrients than other foods. Dont label foods as good or bad, such behavior can lead to binging and eating disorders way too quickly. Coming from someone who fell a victim to the diet culture and fell into anorexia/bulimia. Stay safe and eat in moderation, lots of love

    @@rookiemonster646 i did it like 3 times a week but you can reduce or increase it according to your body. Alternate between strength training and cardio in a week

Yes definitely everyone can do this since this is a strength training workout routine and our main goal is to always get strong and choose those exercises which help us become strong and at the same time loose fat and gain lean muscles. But if you're a total beginner, choose to do either less reps or do less intense version of the exercises you have difficulty in doing. Keep a watch on your form. Hope this helps. Bless you.😊

    Joanna , I tried this workout one month back for the first time and I couldn't complete all 4 reps.Since then I have been working out 5-6 times a week and surprisingly today I tried this workout again and I could complete all 4 reps:) I am glad :) I wish to see more such long duration Strength training videos :)

    @@lolhey4389 yeah I did , I lost 4 kg in a month , but I was doing 51-70 sun salutations in morning and min 30min HIIT in evening

    i literally almost cried doing this workout. this is my first day doing it and i can only do the first rep with a lot of breaks. i couldnt even do the lunges to curtsy properly, my legs were literally shaking. ill try doing this again tomorrow!! i hope i find my comment.

    You're the best Joanna! Thank you for uploading these workouts- I'm living on the second floor of an apartment so jumping is a no-go for me.     As someone who just got back into working out I almost considered stopping at doing two reps but I surprised myself by making it through the whole work out. This exercise was intense and while I know I didn’t do all the workouts correctly or even keeping up with Joanna that’s something I’m not even kicking myself in the butt for. But I know the more I keep at this the better I’ll get. Well done with another intense workout Joanna 👍👍👍

    Thank you Joanna for created a great workout for this Stay at Home time period. Love it! No jumping, small spaces and so helpful to have the countdown clock. Greatly helps when you think you can’t do anymore but only have a couple more to do so you keep going.

    I've been looking for this kind of workout video! It's so important to not only get sweating when it comes to working out, but doing excersizes slow and intense to work your muscles to build them up and avoid injuries or overdo it with working out. Cardio is not everything, and strength training should focus on exactly that and not getting my heartrate beyond fat burning zones. Thank you for this workout!!

    When I started, I told myself to at least survive the 2nd set, and ended up doing the entire 3 sets. I'm so proud of myself for trying and definitely gonna challenge myself to finish all 4 sets next time. Thanks Joanna!

    This was too much for me, but I got through almost 2 reps. That said, I'm so grateful to be able to do these workouts during stay at home. I feel more toned, with a stronger core, and more motivated to eat right/stress eat less. Will attempt HIIT next!

    ok so I tried this workout today, and I was skeptical I thought that this is easy since it doesn't require weights & jumping. but I was wrong!!!!!!! I was struggling even for the 1st set! I tell you it wasn't easy even for a person who does 5days workout in a week like me! But am so glad that I didn't skip and challenge myself to finish all the sets! I am covered with sweats and I love it!!!! I will do this workout probably 2-3 days a week cause I really love the burns !

    I loved loved loved this one. Please do come up with more strength training workouts without weight , as I am a medical student and don't get time to go to gyms. Thank you so much. I can finally do a push up now. In the beginning plank up and downs were the death of me...but now I can do them with little effort. Thank you Joanna.

    Barely made it to the end twice 2 months ago but Third times the charm ig🥵 came back to this workout....was kinda dreading it, still struggling with pushups but I completed this and definitely feeling stronger 😭💪

    I did it!!! Tho I still need 55 mins and not doing the wide push ups (coz of my right arm) but I'm so proud of myself! Thanks Joanna! This is a fun yet challenging workout! I did it for 2nd time and yasss i finished it!!! I feel stronger! not as tired as the 1st time!

    i'm amazed at how she explains every step while doing it..i love her vibes and her workouts looks "doable" although it actually hard for me to do haha..but because of her positif vibes, she make me want to do it and challenge myself!

    Great challenge!😊 I love the format of each circuit starting at 20 reps, 15 reps, 10 reps, and 5 reps with each exercise. I like to do this kind of method in future workouts if possible 🙂

    I'm starting this again after a year and I don't have strength or stamina. Ill update everyday Day 1: i only did 20 rep one and i was exhausted. I had injured my back, so i had stopped working out and taking it slow. Hope i get better. Gonna combine this with a cardio

    did this workout for the 3rd time and finally I completed all 4 sets! I take many more breaks and the lunge to curtsy is so goddamn hard for me that I can only do them in reps of 5 with a little break between them, but honestly it just means this workout is challenging af for me so I can keep doing it twice week for quite a while longer haha! hoping to see progression over time!

    I'm trying to get into shape, I weigh 163 and my goal weight is 120, I'm also 5'0 so this was my first day doing it I'll keep you guys updated on how it's going. I plan on doing this workout Monday, Wednesday, and fridays but today was an exception, here we go: 11/21/20- I thought this was going to be easy, and I was really excited to try it because I've been working out for almost a week now. BOY WAS I WRONG. It took me an hour and a half just to finish the entire video I had to take numerous breaks, it looks easy watching it but it really does test your strength. I'll update you on Monday. 11/25/20 It's Wednesday, and I'm still struggling but I'm doing it a little faster this time, I don't get tired as fast as I did the first time
