It's a good thing you got to it before it completely grenaded. At least it can be repaired, not so much once a rod saws the block in half. Grind the crank, put in undersized bearings, and you're half way there.

I guess if you don't have any oil pressure you don't need to worry about a gauge...😂 With all the heat that lower end had I'm sure it will need a line hone to get the block usable again. That crank could be repaired but is it worth it? Idk! I wouldn't use the rods either. Stroker candidate maybe?

If the bearing oil feed holes were blocked due to improper bearing installation, would you see low oil pressure? The bearings that developed the sloppy clearance would not have bled off the oil pressure because no oil was being pumped into them, right?

I think you are correct, maybe even a slight increase.

Human error. Facts, too many people think they can build an engine and then they blame it on Chinesium. It's not Chinese young too many people are watching KZread and thinking they can do s--t

Something’s telling me the bearings weren’t ‘new’ when put in. … hmmmmm 😎

I suspect it was put together loose with old bearing for racing but that is just a guess.

Offset grind it and make it a stroker?
