Sounds good even through your phone, nice mellow rumble, perfect. 3.55 is the gears I would have selected myself. I haven't seen a half inch fuel line and pickup offered anywhere, but I would have gone with that if available. Two identical factory cars except one with a 440hp and the other with a 383hp and the 383 will out top end the 440 because the 440 will run out of gas for lack of supply.

Did your old gas tank have the 4 “breather” lines on it - and if so were they located on the front-side of the tank (facing front of car)? I need to get a replacement tank (and sender), and was wondering if you had the same one, how difficult was it to get it - and/or if they sent you the wrong one … etc..

It does have the 4 front tubes which went in cars post 4/72. Mine is Dorman Part# 576-021. I had no problems with my order.

@@Thaddaeus417 you wouldn’t happen to have a part # for the sending unit, would you?

@@SuperSatelliteGarage I used a 3/8 outlet-1/4 inlet (return) sending unit, the factory piece was 5/16 outlet no inlet, since I knew I would swap in a 440 in the future I went with the bigger sending unit. Not sure of the part #.

@@Thaddaeus417 Ah, ok … I know I’ve got the stock tank and lines which are 5/16 and have to make sure if I can upgrade to 3/8 … otherwise keep it stock. Thank You for the reply, I really appreciate it. God Bless
