Hello ladies! I appreciate all of your responses! Here are a few things as you watch the video: ➡️One’s relationship with God is key to being able to discern the things that please the Father and vice versa ➡️In the video, I shared my understanding from the holy scriptures as a Bible believing born again Christian as it relates to our natural hair and my experience of not using artificial in hopes that it inspires other women ➡️You have a choice to continue to use artificial hair but I have to add that we will all give account to God for everything we do whether we believe in God or not (Romans 14:12) ➡️Lastly motive is very important. We must examine why we do what we do and ask: “do those reasons give glory to God? (1 Corinthians 10:31) Again, it boils down to your relationship with God. If you don’t have a relationship with God, it will be very difficult to understand all this. If you have a relationship with God, I encourage you to pray about this and let the Lord lead you into all truth. Thank you for watching the video. -Mrs. Charity Umar❤️

You are so right, I struggled for years mentally when I use to wear fake hair. It was time consuming & a burden. I use to feel like a different person when I wore extensions (false confidence), then once I'd go back to my real hair I didn't feel secure neither content. When I got closer to God he led me to length retention videos, its not coincidence bc I asked him for longer hair. & For the first time in years I'm seeing that these methods work, my hair is at its longest. He also removed the desire to straighten my hair or wear extensions. It feels great to be at peace & not worry about worldly validation. A lot of women don't want to hear this bc deep down they are conveting & trying to look like someone they are not.

Thanks Sis You're absolutely right, society has decived women. I was once like that not happy and caring for my hair, therefore I went on from weave ons to braids the same day at salons to look pretty. Now, I have been on my natural journey for almost 3 yrs. Whenever I wear my hair out, everyone admires it and was wants to grow theirs. My hubby encouraged me and I'm grateful to God for opening my eyes

With you 100% women do no need to do all these things. The money they spend buying all these things should be spending buying things to care for their natural hair. Some of these women do not even need all these wigs and hairs , they have beautiful natural hair. It’s like a woman cut off her eyebrows and then redraw it with a pencil😏. So sad, invest in your natural hair! It is worth it

It’s not fair to judge or look down on others sense of style. Some wear wigs because they like the of variety of hairstyle or as a protective style . If you don’t care for wigs , you shouldn’t look down on women who do. Some women like a certain fashion style or look. Why do you make fun of them for shaping their eyebrows ?if you like the natural look, good for you . We all have preferences.

I was just having this conversation with my sister. We are both naturals. I just suffered a major set back of breakage. Stuffing my hair under a wig and not caring for it is a major culprit in that set back! I started wearing wigs after my twins were born, two years ago. I had retained so much length and fullness and the fullness is gone due to breakage. I believe God led me to your channel so that my hair can be restored. My husband loves my natural hair and my goal is to restore it back to the glory it was created to be. God bless you sis! Keep making this content. Your life is such an inspiration all those who follow your channel! ❤❤❤❤ love you!

I am a Christian and I don't wear jewelry or extensions however, I think we misinterpret what the bible says about braided hair. I soley believe it depends on your reason for wearing it. If you are wearing it because you believe you are not pretty enough, that's wrong. However, a busy mom who has no time to style their hair daily I believe that is a valid reason. If braiding hair is wrong, wearing a false tooth is wrong. Let's move from the basic things and focus on higher things. Braids really cause breakage though. Have a great day.

@@katrinamalone5927 Not everyone is still at the basic things. There are people overindulging in the word daily desiring revelations and focusing on the saving of souls and keeping God's temple clean. When the bible spoke about adorning in relation to women it was not said to an entire generation. Anyway, I am not bashing Charity as those are her beliefs. I too thought that wearing jewelery was wrong and wearing extensions but I no longer hold that view. There is more to God than the external. If you work on the internal, the external has to come in alignment. Sometimes these beliefs hinders people from accepting the Lord. I have seen it way too often and I have seen person left the church because of these man made rules. Anywho...let us seek the Lord. He will reveal all we need to know to get by. God bless you.

WOW! I just read the comments & I must say I’m surprised that so many women are attacking Charity’s message. People who love GOD must love others. I wore a weave for 5 years. I stopped Because my husband encouraged me to wear my natural hair. It’s now striving & so much cheaper than my weave was. I wasn’t convicted to remove it but I removed it anyway. I wear jewelry & I wear makeup & heels. You’ve given me something to pray about Charity. Don’t be dismayed & please don’t stop posting. There’s only one truth & that’s GOD’s truth! Thankyou !!! Once upon a time I was literally ashamed of my natural hair. And I know many women who are like I was. They NEVER shown their hair for as long as I have known them. Is this honesty, is this christian?? really!! Ashamed of our God's own works when He said to all He created "And IT WAS GOOD !" Women shy away from what God has done. We make the Bible a liar when it clearly says "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies." 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.

Bright Colored hair pink, green yellow etc is from the devil and it is demonic 2. He also told me that I should do more natural hairstyles 3. When I did attachment dreadlocks he was not happy about it and many other things I can’t even say. It’s not easy at all to be totally natural but I try my best sometimes

Teach Sis. Women are getting upset because the enemy will not allow them to understand the things of God and how we are supposed to represent the Kingdom. Remember they were upset with Paul for preaching in Corinth and people stopped worshipping the goddess Artemis. It put alot of silversmiths who prospered from making statues of her out of business. Can you imagine what would happen to the makeup and weave industries if people became obedient and followed the truth? You are stepping on toes and the devil is mad!

Although I've never worn extensions or hair that isn't my own I can not say it was because of my Christianity. I don't think I ever even thought of it in those terms. For me, it was just too much trouble to try to add hair, and I didn't understand how I could take care of my hair with extensions in it. I knew for certain that I wasn't going to let weeks pass without water and shampoo touching my scalp and hair so that meant that extra hair was not an option. Finally, I felt happy and satisfied with my own hair.

Mrs. Charity I came across your video and was quite taken aback from your content. I appreciate a fellow Christian woman sharing God's word. With that being said, I just wanted to take the time to address a scripture you quoted in your video. I do agree with mentioning 1 Corinthians 11: 15; however if you read at the beginning of the text Paul is addressing of being orderly during worship. As you probably know the Corinthians had a great deal of spiritual issues. The area of Corinth was the epicenter of sin, sexual impropriety, and idol worship. As you read through Corinthians 1&2 those folks struggled. One of the issues Paul addressed was determining the difference between men and women. If you closely read Chapter 11 Paul speaks about it being shameful for a man to have long hair and a woman to have short hair. Since a woman's hair is her glory, she should feel the need to cover her head with a veil if she didn't have long hair. This can be inferred by closely reading the text. There is no mention of fake hair. If we were to conclude by what Paul states, a woman with close cut hair or perhaps a shaven head would be considered a problem especially during worship. This is why Paul mentioned the veil hence if you have long hair as a woman, a veil isn't required. However if your hair is too short perhaps bald because of illness than you need to wear a veil. That way folks would be able to differentiate the men from the women in worship. Sometimes the Bible will give a direct command/ statement and sometimes a necessary inference can be concluded based upon the context. As far as women in general ignoring God's glory by using fake hair this logic wouldn't fit under most circumstances. Say for instance if a person loses a limb and later receive a prosthetic. Are they ignoring God's glory? Consider a person who has cataracts or just any deficit with their eyesight. If they were to wear eyeglasses or contacts are they too ignoring God's glory? We as Christians cannot hold standards and boundaries to folks if the Bible doesn't authorize it. God's word is the authority and we must impart his words correctly. If a woman wears a wig, extensions or whatever she isn't guilty of any falsehood. She is doing just as God commanded. Wear the veil so that people can ascertain that she is female. God bless ❤

This is a misinterpreting of scripture. I maintain my glory but i also need a break sometimes as my glory is thick as heck. And i don't feel like styling it or doing it sometimes. Fake hair gives me a break, thats all. Also you should expect christian women to have a problem with you judging them and their love for God, simply because they choose to wear fake hair and you don't.

Wow the comment section. I don’t think our sister is trying to make anyone feel guilty and you shouldn’t hear her message as such. This is what’s she’s glean from the Bible and it’s her conviction. She’s doing what she does according to her faith. If you wear hair extensions and don’t see a problem with it or haven’t been convicted. Continue and let’s not attack someone under their OWN video. Lol we don’t want her to stop posting.

Yes I understand that people have different opinions but this one I never really understood. I love my natural hair and my hair with artificial hair. The reason I only wear my hair with artificial hair is because one my hair is tangled very easily to because it gives me more self-confidence and three because I think that it adds more color to my personality but this is my opinion I know people have different opinions, but this one I just never seem to catch on or agree with, but thanks for stating your opinion❤ God bless you

For anybody in doubt, simply ask God from the bottom of your heart not just justify yourself and be willing to obey. Cant we even see what all this artificial stuff is doing to our hair, face, and even skin? Some have grown older than their age simply because of addiction to make-up. No more confidence to go out without any artificial additions. Some are hooked to false eyelashes, nails, etc. The moment you add something else to God's glory you are losing that glory to satan (if you like say God forbid! but that is the fact) That is why it is difficult for us to remain natural cos we have compromised. I got delivered from every form of falsehood about 8years ago and I never looked back since.

The question I ask above what you've stated is how do we encourage young girls to love themselves when we don't show our natural self (most young kids may have weaves but they want to start using make up). Hear me out for a second, if I a mother/aunt wearing a weave because I am busy, or whatever reason I come up with, it could be I wear make-up to look professional, weaves are easy to maintain etc. and everything else that goes along with being a working woman, how am I showing the young girls, daughters, nieces, neighbours children, that you are beautiful the way you are. You don't have to have the straight hair or perfect face, straight nose etc. that your hair may not be straight but it is beautiful if I can't show it in my life. I love the natural hair movement because it has given many woman the strength to realise they don't need to straighten their hair to be beautiful, or professional, natural hair is good. If the young chldren are seeing the adults only going for weaves, make-ups etc. they will also want to follow suite, and if they don't like that naturally they hate themselves and can't wait to be grown so that they can buy these things for themselves. I believe, we have been convinced so much but not realising the damage to the self exteem of the young girls who are already living with a low self-esteem.

Today I have been at dentist as since I was young I had issues with teeth. Yes God gave me beautiful teeth however I am taking care of them as per the dental I brush twice, floss do all but I keep loosing them today I had to remove 2 and and next week to. I have no teeth to chew and the dentist suggested dentures or implant if I have money. Is this wrong? Should I live my mount with no teeth and only eat porridge? I believe the reason behind us doing something is what matters. Some ladies they were weave because they have lesser time to take care of such on daily bases however on daily bases the time they have is to carry the message of the Gospel and win others to Christ, love and pray for others, for the nations, vist the sick, help the poor, do the work of the ministry. While they have those weave on they are glorifying God by preaching this Gospel. They said Lord thank you by your Grace We are saved and by the Power of the Holy Spirit let you will and your purpose be done in my life. Let me be the labor to harvest as the harvest is ripe. They stood for Christ and his works. All their works are not glorifying God because of the external appearance that is not so pushed by immoral heart and though, but still look beautiful and dignified while they do the work of God guided by the Holy spirit and by the grace of God. We learn every day and the way to proper understand and learn is that we share our though and the Holy spirit guides us through the word of God To truly know the truth God want us to know and live by. God is the spirit. We are the children of Grace not the law. Much loveeeeeee.

I have to disagree. Wearing extensions is not a sin. It doesn’t make anyone any less Christian or less accepting of themselves to wear a HAIRSTYLE. If someone wants to braid up/ faux loc/ Senegalese twist up/ etc. their hair that’s their choice. God gives us free will and looks at our intentions not our external appearances.

  • @MrsCharityUmar

No, I didn’t wear make-up on my wedding day. I am not sure if you’re a born again Christian but if so, and not wearing make-up is a conviction for you then I would encourage you to be confident in your identity in Christ despite people’s opinion. Ask God to give you a renewed mindset that you are truly his bride and flawless indeed without the application of make-up. On your wedding day, make sure you’re clean, moisturize your skin and appear neat and natural. There is nothing more beautiful! Here’s what God says about you! “O my love, you are altogether beautiful and fair. There is no flaw nor blemish in you!” ‭‭Song of Solomon‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭AMP‬‬ bible.com/bible/1588/sng.4.7.AMP

I just love truth! God's truth His Word, HolySpirit convicted me to stop wearing weave I was surely faithful in wearing wigs,, weaves,, and braids and I did my own hair and was really good at it,and loved it lol! but I wanted to obey God and that's what I did, so I gave all that up, there are videos on you tube that show how weave is harvested and its people's real hair(lace wigs)(bundles) and these people are worshipping pagan God's..when women wear bundles your wearing someone else's hair on your head attached to your own hair...that was enough for me ..but just pray ladies God will teach you how to take care of your hair, Seek Him he will reveal the truth to you ,thanks for this video sis and for letting the HolySpirit use you, God Bless and keep speaking God's truth

Wow I came across this and so interesting I recently listened to a testimony a good friend of mines send me how this youth was delivered from demonic possession . Her mother was a witch . But this youth from Dominican Republic talked about the change the Holy Spirit did in her life . Today she is a great evangelist & the Lord uses her powerfully traveling around the nations . But God had to process her for more than 4 years before He began to use her … she says the first time she heard the voice of Gods spirit was when she was going to fix her wig at the beauty salon and change her hair color because she didn’t like white hair . She said she heard when God said to her I want you to take what was not given by me off . She also had fake nails . The Lord told her how important was for her to be the way God created her .. the natural way … and then the Lord worked on her clothing that was not appropriate . What is interesting was that she heard the voice of God and she obeyed .. and years later wow she had long beautiful hair all the way to her waist … she said her hair never grew .. but because she believed God at His promised and obeyed her hair grew long and beautiful. And she is a beautiful young girl and very anointed .. I heard people in the church always talk about the importance of dressing modest .. and also about being natural the way you were created .. very interesting .. God bless you .. and continue to give God the glory and to trust Him .. and honor Him first ..

So glad I am delivered from the fake hair. Our oppressors have put out that our natural beauty is unprofessional and that is what have caused black women to have low self esteem, when we are in the work place we have been told "Oh you have to do something with your hair, its too nappy, prompting us to flat iron, press and perm our hair or wear wigs. Some of this started when the Black Panthers in the 70s and black people who wore afros, they were being targeted to be killed because people with afros were seen as rebellious and problematic and that is what caused women to wear the wigs to cover her hair to keep from being killed, so our history of this fake hair was basically forced on us. All of this happening when we are in the image of the Heavenly Father and his Son. My hair is locked and is healthier than its ever been. All Praise to the Most High 🙌🏾 Many of our women are waking up now and being delivered because this wicked nation is under the Fathers judgment for their wickedness toward his people. Thanks for your message sister.
